I buy a pair of these gloves every year for winter use (regular use, not just occasionally). They keep my hands warm and dry and give good protection. It’s best to rub leather oil into them to keep them supple. They are a close fit on my medium sized hands so might be a bit small for some women. These were at a good price.

they are warm and comfortable and most importantly you can handle rose briars and brambles without fear of cutting your hands to ribbons. This is the second pair i have bought and will always choose this brand. Last pair lasted four years

As I have small child-like hands I find getting decent gloves so hard. I also find it difficult to find ones that keep your hands warm enough when outside pruning and which can withstand sharp thorns. These are excellent and worth the money, but they do come up small (good for me but someone with adult sized hands might find them tight)

Excellent gloves, keep my hands lovely and warm, but would be even better if the backs were thorn proff and if they had gauntlet to protect the wrists

As I bought these gloves as a gift for a friend I am unable to comment on how they will suit the task. However, I was very pleased to give them as a gift and my friend seemed very delighted with them. They are beautifully soft, warm and flexible and I am certain they will provide many years of pleasurable winter gardening. They are thicker than the lighter 'all year round ' pair which I have, but are strong, protective and pliable enough for winter pruning and heavier gardening tasks. Hopefully she will find them suitable for all year round gardening too.

These might be a little pricey but they are in fact excellent quality. I use them professionally as a gardener, and particularly in winter or when handling brambles, pyracantha, etc, they are fantastic. They are not waterproof, which would be a bonus, but they are fine once left to dry out. They will lose colour over time how-ever that doesn't bother me. They are so comfortable for someone with small hands like me, and I highly recommend them.

These are for tiny hands. They did not fit me, my mum or my Aunty and we all have small hands. They are beautiful quality but nowhere near big enough for normal female hands. Have reordered the men's version in the hope that they fit. Would give 1 star for sizing but 5 stars for quality - so have given a 3.
