I bought this book to use for a lesson to teach what it's like to live in the circus as part of the International Primary Curriculum. Used with 5-6 year olds. Simple story to help explain e.g you see a strong man, I see my uncle ... and it goes on to explain a little about each.

The book was exactly what I wanted to give the children in my class a glimpse of what it might be like to live as part of a circus. The school is having Circus week and this book will give a look at the real people who are the circus performers.

Love this book. I ordered this as a 2ND copy for use with a year 1 class as our topic was "The Circus" and we were studying predictable & repetitive stories in literacy. Perfect!

Our daughter and us read it every night and the rhymes are so nice that she already started learning them by heart.
