Any console is only as good as the games. This one has 300 and each one is a compelling reason to avoid buying it.Elsewhere I have seen this advertised as letting you play some of the best of Data East's catalog (Bad Dudes, Burger Time, Midnight Resistance etc) except the truth is none of the games named here exist on this console.None of these games were authored by Data East.None of them were even authored by any reputable game developers.None of them exist anywhere outside of this console - they are NEW games that look and sound like 8-bit classic games, without the quality. They are bespoke games that were (badly and cheaply) made purely to be sold on this console. Many of them share graphical assets between each other, feature bad design and terrible quality. Some of them even feature graphical assets stolen from existing 8- and 16-bit titles from a variety of other systems. The controllers each have a d-pad for movement which is set so deeply into the controller's surface that they're difficult to push properly and nigh impossible to register diagonal movement. All the games respond poorly to the controller inputs, some of them with a delay of up to a full second between the push and the reponse on-screen.With bad hardware and utterly disappointing slipshod software, this product can only be described as a cynical cash-grab using misleading advertising to take advantage of unsuspecting customers trying to recapture the experience of classic 8-bit era gaming.
