Concept2 Floor Stand for Ski Erg - Black

I purchased a skiERG a few months ago and was waiting to get our “gym” together before building it. What I hadn’t considered was the need to wall fix it, and with a stud wall wasn’t happy to do that. The stand, whilst expensive, is well made and the instructions really simple and clear. There is virtually no movement in the whole unit, and it is unobtrusive enough not to bother me. I have my unit mounted on an exercise mat, saves the copious amount of sweat that I produce ruining my wooden floor. If you have a skiERG buy one!

Pretty simple item, but essential for using with the SkiErg (didn't want to wall mount or have hassle when changing cord by having to take off the wall). Very sturdy and well made

Pricey but definitely does the job well

Bought for my C2 Ski Erg which unfortunately didn't come with a base! Essential if you want to be able to move the Ski Erg around (otherwise it has to be permanently attached to the wall), and provides a comfortable base to stand on while training. I skied thousands of meters last winter on this and it remained rock-solid throughout, not shifting on the floor or between stand and Ski Erg, despite aggressive sprint sessions. N.B. this model is only suitable for the PM5-equipped (Y-shaped) ski erg, and not the older model. Well up to Concept2's usual excellent standard of construction in build and in use.

The concept two floor stand is excellent! Very easy to assemble, very sturdy and well made.Just be aware that the screwdriver and bracket for the stand are in the Ski Erg box and NOT the floor stand box. This caused me quite a few problems as I thought they had been missed out of the box! Please take note Concept 2!

My ski erg was boleted to the wall. This base allows me to quicjly move it around to suit. Quality product, easy to fit and robust.

Took two people, and a lot of time and patience to assemble.

This works well if you want the Ski Erg to be free standing and potentially moveable. It is very solidly made, however the edges are rough plywood and for this price I'd expect a much more professional finish. Some sanding and layers of varnish is all it would take.

Great bt there’s no fixing they leave it infront of the door and leave

I cannot see myself using the ski erg w/o this , it's the solid platform for the erg and gives you quick access to moving it around.

An absolute must for all SkiErg owners or potential owners. I was definitely not comfortable attempting to drill my SkiErg into my wall. I would be incredibly hesitant knowing how much force you "pull" down on the handles and how that would affect your wall. Anyways, this stand is great. Extremely easy to set up with the SkiErg and it seems to be made very well. Yes, it is strangely expensive for just being a stand, but man oh man I think it's totally worth it. Your wall will thank you and so will your SkiErg.
