I only have one negative for this case.
This is the Zoom PCH8 carrying case, it is used with the Zoom H8 sound recorder. There is a lot for me to like about this case. The case did the Zoom H8 perfectly, even with the XY microphone attachment on. I love the fact that the top is attached with velcro and can be completely removed to allow for the H8's various other microphone attachments. The side panels of the case also have velcro closures which allows for access to the various audio inputs (XLR & 1/4 inch inputs) as well as the SD card. At the bottom of the case you have access to the power button and the headphone jack. The front cover also opens up to give access to the many buttons and switches. The only downside for me with this case, is that they're isn't a belt loop or a shoulder strap so that you can hold a boom pole while recording. A handheld microphone may be fine but if you had to work with both hands while recording a shoulder strap would be a good idea.

More like a rain cover than a case
I would call this a “cover” more than a “case.” It is designed to cover the H8 while in use, but the protection it provides is more so from rain and the elements. It’s not a case that would protect the device during transit in a backpack or gig bag. While there is rigid material in the front and back of the body, the piece that covers the mic capsule is just thin fabric. The device is held in with elastic straps and you need to unlatch the side panel to get access to them. These straps keep the device solidly in place, but make it cumbersome to remove the H8 from the case.

Pricey, but solid
Wish they would have taken the Bluetooth adapter into account as a strip goes right over it, but it’s probably the best case you can get as the access points are all where they need to be
