No they are more of an ornament not heavy enough for a doorstop.

They came in a box but not what I would call a gift box - just a plain cardboard ( I dressed it up a bit as it was a gift to a family member)

Does it come with anything additional?

No, its just the 2 elephants which you intertwine when setting them out.

Are the 2 elephants combined 8cm wide?

I’m not exactly sure as I gave them as a present - but I think they are 8cm wide each. They are really nice and my daughter was thrilled with them as a China Anniversary present Hope that helps!
