Book of Thoth: Egyptian Tarot: Being the Equinox V. III, No. 5

Read this years ago and bought as a gift for a friend. The USA edition is cheap but printed on cheap newsprint, avoid. The five stars is for the content which is a great introduction to Crowley's deck and to the underlying meaning of each of the cards. The history and links of the cards to esoteric traditions is explained in so far as possible without revealing secret knowledge. If you want to have a full understanding you will need to join the Rosicrucian fraternity and work through their teaching to arrive at an appropriate level of knowledge. It also provides a salutary warning to those who merely wish to meddle in divination. You have been warned.

Interesting ready but dunno if i would use toth cards as a go too… crowley didn’t exactly dabble with savory forces

Love thoth tarot, I haven't read the book yet but after briefly looking I can see it's very informative.

Fabulous book. I've been working with the Tarot deck for quite some time with amazing accuracy so it seemed it was time to now read the book and I'm not disappointed. I'm glad I've read the cards before the book though but this book is a wonderful addition to them.

This book is explain you Crowley tarot deck ( made by Frieda Harris), for example: On card "0" "THE FOOL"- we can see crocodile- why? this book will explain you. There are more-astrology, planets, zodiacs.... Very good book for a deeper ( I will say 5 level) of Tarot decks.

Brilliant artwork. Comprehensive information. Good value for money. You can use this book for the tarot information as an alternative book or just for the artwork.

Libro indispensabile per chiunque voglia usare i Tarocchi Thoth e comprenderne l'intricato e ricco simbolismo. L'argomento è abbastanza complesso se non si è mai letto niente di Aleister Crowley e se non si hanno nozioni di Thelema, Qabalah, Astrologia, Alchimia e altro ancora. Il mio consiglio per ottenere il massimo da questo libro è di affiancarlo, oltre alle opere di Crowley, anche ai seguenti: " Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot: New Edition ", di Lon Milo Duquette, da leggere prima per avere una solida base; "Liber Theta: Tarot Symbolism & Divination", pubblicato da The College of Thelema e scaricabile gratuitamente online, per avere un programma di studio e istruzioni su come meditare sulle singole carte.

Es complejo, la calidad es incuestionable del producto físico, llegó antes de lo acordado. Ojo es una lectura pesada, es excelente pero si vas de curioso solo por el bonito tarot, puede que acabes más confundido, mejor usa la versión de el espejo del alma que es más digerible, no te cierres y es buen acercamiento. Pero si estás adentrado al mundillo de todo esto... Dale, embriagate de conocimiento y úsalo como diría Crowley a tu voluntad!!!.

A edição está boa. A leitura é Crowley, então você já sabe que não será fácil. Mas é um dos melhores textos para entender o Thoth, já que é o autor explicando a sua arte. Eu aconselho a ler o livro da Soror Meral ("The Thoth Tarot, Astrology etc...") para complementar os conceitos e maior entendimento.
