AMAZING Smooth Swing Xenopixel V2 Luke Lightsaber & Customer Service!
I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to take the time to compliment “Custom Saber’s” customer service and also write a review for this Amazing Smooth Swing Xenopixel V2 Luke lightsaber! I was soooooo pleasantly surprised by the sound, lighting and motion features and the superb build quality of the hilt (which really has some heft and great feel to it). With the quality of build and the extra accessories provided (which even included a blade plug with functional lighting), the Custom Saber’s Smooth Swing Xenopixel V2 Lightsaber is right up there with some of the far more expensive customizable boutique lightsabers out there. After endless research, I opted for Custom Saber's Smooth Swing Xenopixel V2 Luke Lightsaber and I'm so glad I did. This is a feature packed lightsaber with exceptional quality from end to end! The Xenopixel V2 technology is truly incredible - the flawless sensitivity of the Smooth swing functions and endless sound and lighting options, blade scrolling effects, animations, blaster bolt deflection, unstable blade effects and more, are only limited by your imagination. With this Xenopixel V2 lightsaber, you can build and add a completely customizable sound and effects lightsaber font that emulates your favorite character from the mind of George Lucas. Or you could dive into your own persona and create your own for a more personalized experience. It is actually a really great replica of Luke Skywalker's “Return of the Jedi” Lightsaber. I have to add that Custom Saber even got the colors of the directional indicators on the hilt correct, with the green indicator closer to the blade, unlike a rather popular selling Luke lightsaber that shockingly got it wrong (I won’t mention the make/retailer out of respect). The advantage of this Xenopixel V2 build and technology, no doubt, is that the incredible amount of individual LEDs in the Neopixel blade can be uniquely controlled for endless different effects. This gives you way more versatility and brightness over the standard RGB and RGB-X baselit lightsabers. You get a much fuller experience with a brighter light that has a special radiance similar to what we’ve all cherished in the Star War movies. There is a bit of a learning curve because of all the features and customizable options, and perhaps, that explains why a couple of reviewers mentioned having difficulties with getting the Xenopixel V2 lightsaber to do what they wanted it to do. But in my honest opinion, along with the great demo video by “Custom Saber” and their incredible customer service and technical support (thank YOU, Lola), we were up and running in no time! I honestly don’t get the couple of complaints regarding customer service either? They were lightning quick to reply through Amazon’s messaging service, providing exceptional personalized attention to all our questions. They even forwarded me the latest sound and effects fonts update upon request and additional video demonstrations on disassembling the hilt and removing and updating the SD card. They consistently follow-up to make sure all was good and that we were completely satisfied! Incredible service!

Best Value Xenopixel!
This is the second Xenopixel I purchased from Custom Saber and I am just amazed at the quality of this product. This is one of the best Luke replicas I have ever held. I was very surprised with the amount of sound fonts it has and how great it sounds. Unboxing was very satisfying as the hilt itself was securely wrapped and snug in the box along with the xenopixel blade and accessories. The hilt came without a charge so definitely charge the hilt first before trying to turn it on. After a full charge it powers on and works great! The blade is super bright and has many different colors - all of which stand out and looks great at night! Blade is sturdy and has no dead LEDs. The hilt is light, but comfortable to hold - aside from the ignition box. The edges are pretty sharp and may be a bit discomforting. It comes with an acrylic stand which is great to show off the saber when the blade is removed. Other than that - this "lightsaber will make a fine addition to my collection!” Customer Service is great as well - This is just a bonus addition to the review, but the customer service experience I received was great. They did everything they can to answer any questions I have and also provide solutions to any problems I had with the hilt.

Saberforge Quality at Half the Price
If you’re unfamiliar with the custom sabers “scene,” Saberforge is, what I’d call, the “iron standard.” They’ve been around forever, they’re relatively inexpensive, and they both look and feel pretty good in the hand. I’d never heard of this saber’s manufacturer. All I know is, it has exactly the same electronics as the saberforge eco-tier with pixel blade (I mean literally — it comes with the same instruction book, works with the same app, even has the exact same fonts installed — *everything* is identical). Where Saberforge charges $300+ for their eco-pixel, this gorgeous saber cost about half that. The hilt is chrome, perfectly accurate in size, works just as you’d want it. It comes with a stand (literally the first time I’ve ever seen that, outside the “official” collectors’ replicas — which are more plastic than metal), a unique blade plug so you can adjust the color without needing the actual blade to be inserted, and a really *really* nice allen wrench (to adjust the blade retainment screws). Not to mention the stuff you’d expect: charger, instruction booklet, extra screws, what have you. Whoever these people are, they know how to make a darn fine lightsaber! Super fun to play around with, very sturdy, just nice to look at, and the battery’s been going strong on its very first charge, all week. 10/10

Good value for what you're paying for, but some flaws to be aware of
Over all I have mainly positive things to say about this lightsaber, but a couple of cons just to be aware of that I wasn't when I purchased it. First the pros: This was my first Xenopixel lightsaber and I was in shock with how bright and realistic it was!! The different motion settings was definitely a learning curve but the app made it easier to understand( I would skip reading through the manual, the app explains it all to you under settings) all the different sounds and light effects were honestly so cool! This is what I was imagining when I was a kid with the plastic retractable lightsabers. The build of the hilt feels premium and heavy, but not too heavy. Now the cons: When I first open the box, the little screws that hold in the blade fell out and I almost lost one of them which is not a big deal but for someone who doesn't know what they are could be confuse on where they go back to ( luckily I did research before hand) Also when you do have the blade in and swing it around a few times, the blade gets looser and looser. I have to tighten them down a few times when I swing it around, a good fix would be to buy higher quality tension screws to tighten the blade. My biggest complaint with this lightsaber is the button. It's under the gold control panel. When I first moved the panel the whole button and the spring holder fell out completely, and the spring launched it self across the room, it wasn't until later I discovered it came with two adhesive dots to put under the buttons to keep them in place, but it still doesn't seem like long term fix. Final thoughts: Over all I am still pleased with this purchase, but if you plan on buying this just know the couple hiccups you will have to deal with, and honestly for the price this is definitely the best value for a xenopixel replica that I have seen .

Pretty Great "Chinese" Lightsaber
This is probably the best and cheapest multi-font, RGB, motion-controlled, smooth-swing, Luke Skywalker hilt lightsaber you will find anywhere. It is heads and shoulders above the "official" Hasbro and Disney Parks sabers. Hilt - The Disney/Hasbro Luke Skywalker saber makes you remove the top half of the handle, to support the blade. Bleh. This one lets you keep the "thin" necked design with a blade slotted into it. Durability - I bashed it around with my kids who got cheaper variants of the same. It was fine. (I got an LED base saber, not a pixelstrip saber). Multi-Font means there are multiple lightsaber sound patches as different lightsabers sound subtly or dramatically different from one another. If you want the smoothness of Anakin or Luke's saber, or the crackling of Kylo Ren's unstable saber, those sound effects are in here. Do you want the unique Darksaber sound effect from Rebels and Mandalorian? That's in here too. Smooth-Swing means the lightsaber generates sound effects that are reactive in proportion to your movement. That's a fancy way of saying, "the sound reacts to movement like it does in the movies." In contrast, the Disney/Hasbro sabers have a precanned swing-sound that plays back whenever it detects movement. That sound effect does not track with your movement, resulting in a very poor experience. RGB - Change it to any color you want, and even some inbetween. You can also make it stable (solid color), pulse (subtly cycle intensification), and unstable (a mimicry of Kylo's saber, but basically interspersing a solid color with flashes of white). Effects - Hit the activation button while its own to pretend your blocking blaster bolts. Hold it down for a bit and release to get a saber clash effect. Overall, better and cheaper than Disney sabers. No complaints from me.

Worth the money if you’re wanting a quality saber.
Great light saber. Well constructed. Looks legit. Sound quality is on point. You can use the app or just toggle through settings with the button on the hilt. Changing colors and sounds of the saber is easy. This one easily compares to the same sabers that are $900+

Great Hilt Quality - AWFUL UNRELIABLE ELECTRONICS!
I first ordered the normal saber for like $125 but had to return it as the battery was bad and if my S24 Ultra phone was more than 6" away from the saber, the Bluetooth would disconnect. So... I ordered the $225 v2 version with the better blade. It worked until I connected it to Bluetooth then it would just randomly shut itself down even if I disabled all the motion controls like twist to shut off, etc. When I'd turn the saber back on, all the app settings would be reset to default... the switch also needed adjustment because when it arrived it would not turn on. Needless to say, I returned it. I then had the THIRD saber arrive today. The battery was dead out of the gate like the others so I charged it all day long until it said "ready" when I tried to plug it in again. I turned on the saber and was very pleased. Nice and bright and seemed to work great. I didn't connect it to Bluetooth yet but wanted to show my son. I walked into his room with it twisted it in my hand and it shut off. I was like oh the "twist to turn off" must've triggered. NOPE! IT WOULD NEVER TURN ON AGAIN! TOTALLY DEAD!! Unless you can build your own electronics for this thing, I'd stay clear of buying it. Total shame as the hilt and blade seem to be of great quality. I am honestly really disappointed that I have to send this bad because it's a beautifully crafted hilt and feels amazing to hold... If the electronics had worked properly this would be a 5 STAR review. TOTAL SHAME!!!

Let me be the first to write a review on this great Lightsaber
I have been collecting Disney Galaxy Edge Lightsabers and Hasbro Force FX Elite. I figured this RGBX base lit chrome lightsaber would be just ok light wise and I was looking for that smooth swing and sound. From what I read online people say they are just ok and NEO Pixel is the best. That may be so, I never owned one, but they look cool. Let me tell you when I turned this RGBX Lightsaber on, I was blown away. The blade lit up very uniform all the way to the tip and convincingly. I wanted one of these too cause being base lit easy enough to find a cheap blade plug. The sounds are great and loud and the smooth swing is way better than I ever imagined on a Lightsaber of this cost. You swing super slow and it works perfect. Seeing as this is the same lightsaber the neo version comes in, I’d say it’s a bargain. I think it’s time to sell my Disney sabers and buy more custom ones. The cost of them and lacking the tech isnt worth it to buy Disney ones anymore. RGB blows their led away and that’s not mentioning the swing and sounds. I’m buying another RGB before I go for a pixel saber.
