I have a bot to say on superglue. I sm 68 yrs old. It was discovered Originally by DR HENRY COOVER. In ,1942. It is a good read if you search for it. Was as most created by accident TWICE .It became a medical aid for sealing wounds in the Vietnam war. I hsve seen it used personally in a traumatic case. I used it when was sold as a glue. I thought as z glue it was a waste. Nowhere near a good as I expected. Was brittle , didn't work as I wished....it would dry up in tube making iy useless HOWEVER THIS NEW STUFF TURNED UP . OMH NIW YOUR TALKING THE PACKAGING IS AWESOM. doesn't get clogged . Is so accurate to apply. Easy to reseal and use. Lasts for ages I am niw on my 3rd of these. Superglue. I love ut. I have even used this dir sealing my own wounds ( dont try thus at home goes hee I think) Ot has been perfected finaly I believe Love it

Easy to use and very effective. The bottle just requires pressure on the outer edge and it comes out easily for use. A good superglue.

The super glue is fine, does stick well, but it isn’t the best I’ve used. For instance usually when I buy it, the packaging contains little pipettes to attach for intricate jobs that involves a smaller almost tiny hole that needs gluing. This doesn’t which is a shame. Does stick though and I wore disposable gloves, so the glue wouldn’t stick to my fingers or hands. Takes an age to remove from hands, however a little tip, use an emery board to remove excess, then use white vinegar to rub off. Twist the glue to start the process and press in the sides, wash debris off first. Bottle is tiny, but there is a good amount of glue. Dries quickly but does run if filling to much.

I have used the Loctite brand for many years in one form or another as the various uses for the loctite range of products is vast to say the least, as a commercial product it is a world wide success and a world class product. I therefore have always kept a small bottle at home to use for those things that occasionally get broken. The problem with the normal bottle that I use is that the top usually sticks to the tube and you have quite a job getting it off, when you do get it off its a sure bet that the nozzle is blocked and it requires opening up. On that last occasion this happened to me when I did get the top off and unblock the nozzle, but I found that the glue had gone off and I had wasted my time. Hence I purchased a bottle of this Loctite 3 Gram Ultra Control Gel Super Glue, well I can tell you what a refreshing change as when you use the original Loctite you have got to take care that you do not drip on anything, as the original is very low viscosity liquid and just runs everywhere. This new Ultra Control Gel is actually as stated a gel and has quite a high viscosity and you would have to be quite careless to actually spill any of it, in fact you could easily use it on vertical surface without any problem. I have been using this new Loctite Ultra Control Gel for quite a while now hence I ordered a double pack from Amazon as the original bottle that I purchased locally has just gone on and on and I certainly do not want to run out, as due to its high viscosity and gluing power I will use it on a lot of items that I would not have used the original on. This is an excellent glue as you just place a small amount on one of the faces of the item or items you are gluing together and then hold them together for twenty seconds and then allow the item to set fully, I usually wait about an hour, but the bond appears to be very strong after 30 seconds. This is easily one of the best Loctite products that I have ever used, it will stick a large range of materials, it also sets extremely fast and one of the best features is that the new container does not clog and the nozzle is always free and ready to dispense the glue. Unfortunately one material that this glue will not glue together is polythene, in fact I don't know of any glue that will successfully glue polythene, due to the structure of the material. I highly recommend this Loctite Ultra Control Gel Super Glue as it is first rate and it is a product that I will not be without, a highly recommended excellent glue.

Glues a variety of materials in quick time. I always keep some handy and have managed to repair and rescue some objects that seemed destined for the rubbish bin. Glass, plastics, leather goods and other materials can all be repaired. The specially designed application method is the best I've used. - no more clogged nozzles.

I don’t know how this “power gel” is different to regular super glue but it took aaages to set. This is not regular superglue.

This is superglue but it is thick so much better for flexible or absorbent materials. I used it on a leather belt and it worked great.
