Overall the book is good
This is a small fit in your pocket book. Although the book covers over 800 foods, for me, it doesn't go far enough as there are so many foods available today. I particularly wanted to know about butternut squash as I am pre-diabetic and so am watching what I eat carefully. There was only generic squash listed but non of the 16 types were broken down. Only soy milk was shown as a diary alternative (I use oat milk). Also there was no A-Z which would have made finding things that much quicker.

Easy, simple good little book.
Really good little book that I will be recommending to my client. The only point worth highlighting is the measurement of food could have been made clearer. (FYI is for 100g per food)

not the best format
this book is not set out particularly well, it has far too many band names and the weights aren't standardised. There's no reason to the order, not alphabetical. One can eventually navigate around it but it takes too long to find the category and one wants to go into the kitchen and eat bread and jam to alleviate the boredom!!!

would love to have had some branded food GL values
Exactly what it says on the cover, clear and concise...would love to have had some branded food GL values, but really useful.

does what it says
Handy little GL counter. Fits into pocket or handbag. It tells you what a portions size is at the beginning of the book but I think that can be a bit confusing. I would rather have the weight by the product - but good book

fantastic
I now have 3 of these - 1 each for the kitchen, car and briefcase. A very good 'handy' guide (small notebook size). It's v good for relative comparison - eg orange juice vs croissant, or cheerios vs bran flakes
