I'm planning an extensive European road trip for this summer and naturally I would prefer to have as much luggage capacity as possible without compromising the handling or the look of my Honda VTX 1800. As you will note from an earlier review, I had already purchased a sissy bar bag by Oxide and I was so impressed with its quality and value that I bought their saddlebags as well. My first requirement of motorcycle touring luggage is that it be easily detachable so that, at the end of each day's riding I can remove all my luggage for secure storage. I don't like leaving stuff attached to the bike overnight because even emptied of belongings panniers can be damaged by potential thieves looking to see what's inside. The next most important criterion is that the luggage is sturdy and waterproof. And finally, it ought to look good. The products I've bought from Oxide more than meet my needs in every way and at a very competitive price too. I would go so far as to say that you would find it difficult to find a standard suitcase offering the capacity and build quality that these products do at the price.It's clear that Oxide luggage has been designed by experienced bikers because of the attention to detail in every product.If you are going touring and you don't like skimping on what you take with you, get Oxide luggage!

Very pleased with the panniers, as yet I've not used them but hopefully they will be ok

The bags themselves are fine but im not happy with the way the studs keep falling out of them

The panniers arrived after some mix up with City link. For the money they are very good and keep the elements at bay, only time will tell on the longevity but for the moment I am well pleased.
