Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom: The Royal Picnic Magnet Book

These books are so entertaining for little kids we make up lots of different stories from one book

I bought this for my toddler as I thought it would be great to take out when travelling, for restaurants and waiting rooms. It is perfect! I am very pleased with it. It is really well made, thick pages, good quality little magnets, I think it was a bargain for the price. It is perfect for my toddler, not sure how old it might be good for much older children may become bored with it, as there are only a handfull of magnets, but the story it good (anything that involves a jelly flood has got to be good) but I think it will last my little one for a few years yet.

Getting your child involved in books is almost always rewarding and the magnet concept that this series uses here is a great way of taking attention from the TV to a book. The clip on cover on the front is still intact on our copy after a few months and it has survived many trips out with us, and many waiting rooms or cafes have seen Ben, Holly and Nanny Plum being stuck to different pages before the inevitable jelly flood (apologies for the spoiler!). There are enough magnets to avoid it becoming too repetative and the fact it follows the royal picnic tv episode closely allows us to re-create it (almost completely inaccurately) after watching it on TV! A great book for getting toddlers to talk about what they are seeing on TV and engage with a book and parents through the magnets,

This is the second magnet book that I have purchased the first one was for my 2 year old granddaughter but this one is for my 5 year old grandson as he was fascinated by his sister's one. They are great fun and encourage fantastic interaction, they have made storytelling and listening far more interesting.

This is like having a sticker book that lasts 100 times longer. Hours of entertainment. My only criticism is the holder for the magnets isn't attached to the book unless the book is closed so has come off a few times when my daughter has 'rearranged' her books. Still a great item though.

What a beautiful book! We took this on holiday to entertain our little girl who loves Ben and Holly, we read it day and night! She loved participating in the story with the magnets but unfortunately one day she left them in the bed in the hotel and the maid must have scooped Ben up and put him in the wash :-( would definately recommend and also a lovely present too!

My toddler grandson is currently obsessed with Ben and Holly! This magnetic book has become one of his favorites. After we read together a few times, he can now retell the story to me using the magnetic pieces. His favorite page of course is the Jelly Flood page! Book has small plastic section that opens and closes to store pieces.

The book arrived very promptly. Was so happy with the quality of the book and my granddaughter loves it. A perfect book for a little fairy princess.

Very nice and interactive book for kids who follow the tv series. It is an exact replica of a TV episode.

Bellissimo libro, interattivo, con i magneti, è spassosissimo. Lo uso a scuola con i miei alunni della scuola dell'infanzia e loro si divertono un mondo mentre racconto loro la storia e poi devono posizionare i personaggi sulla pagina del libro. La storia è anche divertente e usa termini non complicati per i bambini
