My hairdresser also pointed out that re-applications daily are not necessary as required effect can be revived by dampening my curls and re-twiddling them, as the product is still in the hair. You don't need much and it doesn't leave residue build up (not like some styling products I've used). It's great on very short hair (pixie styles, crops) but you really don't need alot because to much makes the hair look slightly greasy. The only down side is the price, although if you have short hair the tube will last you quite a long time. Have tried lots of different salt and texturising sprays but Brilliantine is by far and away the best product as it keeps the hair soft and none of that crispy, wet effect that can occur with the sprays. This Brilliantine is a lightweight penetrating cream, that is applied by hand lightly, to dry areas and to the ends of your hair, to primarily help overall dryness. It smells divine, is non greasy and disappears fast into your strands, leaving a nice healthy sheen. I have never used Defrizz, as I am in need of more of a light calming, conditioning when my hair is dry, not wet. Hope this helps!"}}]}]}
