This is such a heartwarming book. A feature of all the books TJ Klune writes. 10/10 no notes! Read for warm, fuzzy feelings.

Being a bibliophile, I love reading a lot. Recently, on a suggestion of a friend who owns a bookstore, I got my hands on this book, and it was so so so worth reading. Every single page and chapter is so gripping that you won't want to keep it down until finished. Gay romance is also well portrayed and slowly developed. I loved the book. The author has done a great job. It's worth reading.

Oh, it’s such a pleasure to read Klune’s work! He is an amazing writer & I just can’t get enough of his books!Ox has always been told by his Dad that he was dumb and people will treat him like shit. These words seep into his heart and time and again he remembers these cruel parting words long after his Dad left. And then one day when he is 16, he meets Joe Bennet, 10-year-old Joe - who hadn’t spoken in 2 years, could not stop talking when he meets Ox. And that’s when Ox’s life really begins. Right from the minute he meets Joe, he feels a connection with him. He soon realizes that Joe’s family is a pack of werewolves and he easily becomes a part of that pack. However one day, murder comes to his town and his world shatters. On top of that Joe leaves him behind to avenge the death of loved ones. And 3 years later he returns, but Ox just cannot forgive him for deserting him and leaving him when his world crashed around him.As always Klune has filled this book with awesome characters and every one of them leaves an impact. But for me, Ox - simple and amazing Ox with his simplicity, vulnerability, passion, and awkwardness simply stole my heart. His relationship with Gordo, with all the guys in the garage where he worked, with Joe’s mom and his Dad in fact everyone in the Bennet family was heartwarming, uplifting, and endearing. It was painful to read how deeply he is impacted by what his Dad had told him. There is not a single day he forgets it and he feels he is nothing and no one --not even believing others who love him and tell him he is so so much more. Ah my heart.Joe - right from the minute he sees Ox, he realizes he is special. My heart broke for Joe - for the trauma that he had faced before he met Ox. I just loved to read about their relationship and how well-connected they were with each other. However, I did hate the part where they separated and I felt it was dragged a bit. Having said that, it was wonderful to see how Ox grew in those 3 years. He became tougher, stronger and more confident than ever.Klune is such an enchanting storyteller that you are pulled into the storyline and just cannot let go. This story is about family, friendship, loss, acceptance, loyalty and about love. It made me wince, it made me angry, it made me sad and it made me laugh out loud.Heartwarming and captivating read. Absolutely recommend!

Joe & Ox made the story the best thing ever... 💜

It's narrated really well! The story is amazing, im so deeply invested!The story is about ox finding his purpose and pack in life. It's beautifully written. You meet werewolfs that are terrifyingly adorable and the plot keeps you invested for a long time!

This shifter romance is unlike any other I have read. In fact, calling it a shifter romance automatically throws this story into the same lot as every other shifter romance, but that is doing Wolfsong a great disservice.The prose is beautiful, almost like poetry in many parts of the books. The writing style is very different as well and I loved it. I can honestly say that haven't read a shifter romance that had me teary-eyed so many times. I even straight-up cried at one point and had to put my Kindle down until I got over it. It was the writing itself that had me hooked from the first page.The shifter world in Wolfsong, while similar in some aspects to other shifter stories, had a few differences that I really enjoyed, like the Omegas. And the characters were fleshed out really well and I found myself caring about all of them, not just Ox and Joe. They added wonderful comedic relief that was very much needed in this pretty heavy story.All in all, I think this book was worth every penny. I read a lot of stories on KU and those are generally very short and often lacking in any real plot development so finding a great, full-length story like this was like finding buried treasure.

Im heartbroken at this book, how have i never heard of it before?If you like found family, hurt/comfort and/or domestic fluff, this is for you.The character development is beautiful, the way the bonds and relationships between characters are described is exquisite and leaves you wanting to be part of something like that.I can't get over this book, I finished it in like two days and as soon as I can purchase the rest of the series I will!This is not an omega verse type of story, much less a twilight kind of plot, it has so much more to offer than your average book (and I love twilight and omega verse, and have read earth-shattering fanfics)TJ Klune brings social minorities to the plot without making their differences the whole plot and/or character personality.

Inicialmente estaba excéptico por el concepto de los hombres lobos y que fuera a ser tipo Twilight, pero la verdad TJ es muy bueno contando esta historia, los personajes estan llenos de vida y es muy facil encariñarse con cada uno por su personalidad única y motivaciones muy bien descritas.No es un libro para menores de edad ya que si tiene descripciones gráficas aunque estan bien tratadas. La verdad si te gusta el genero de fantasía y la literatura LGBT es mucho mejor que muchos que llegue a leer de literatura amateur. Este libro te hara reir, llorar, enojarte y suspirar.

Reading this book is so heart warming! TJ Klune has mastered the chosen family trope! I love the bonds that he created between the characters! Amazing read! Highly recommended!
