It really works!
3 months ago, my 86 year old dad dad was bed bound in hospital for a month and his legs lost all their muscle so he staggers around the house, stumbles and struggles with stairs/steps. I bought him this device in the hope it would do some good and have been amazed at the immediate effect its had. On his first 15 mins session he stood up and felt like he;d walked miles! he tells me that all his leg muscles feellike they have been worked and in 7 days (2 sessions a day) his legs have already strengthened and improved. My mum is now using it because she has circulation problems and a sore ankle and she too is amazed at the workout shes getting - genuinely impressed and my only complaint is that it is pretty heavy for an old person so we've set it up at a particular room/chair where they dont need to move it. To improve the design I would fit an extendable handle and 2 wheels so an older person can easily wheel it around

Easy to use
Bought this for my Dad at 77 and suffering mini strokes and breaking his pelvis in a fall last summer his mobility isn’t great as he’s lost strength and muscle in his leg. Bought this to help improve his strength to help get the muscles in his legs and ankles stronger. It’s quiet ,very easy to use with a remote control and simple buttons to understand easily. He just gets sat with his book or the tv on,places his feet on the plates and sets it going with an automatic switch off after 15 mins he gets a good timed workout 2/3 times a day. It’s simple to use, sturdy and all in all money well spent to help my Dad regain his confidence walking about again!

Use for movement and circulation of legs only, not an exerciser
Developed a squeak after a time and there is an audible hum during the back and fore movement. I recommend it for movement and circulation of legs but I didn't find the 3 speed settings were that good to say it is a exerciser. It's not a vigorous movement so It could be called passive for people needing gentle movement.

Failed after single use.
Plugged it in and it worked fine the fuest time I used itTried it a second time and it failed to work again . Tried to contact the seller and was re-directed and asked to return for a possible refund. It looks like a great product but unfortunately it's not reliable.

Small strides, noisy and annoying.
There are a few badly designed elements of this otherwise promising leg exerciser. The first is if your preference is anything but Level 1 (out of 3) you will have to select the level EVERY time before using it. Even if you've just finished a "walk" and you want to use it again you have to select the level again because it always resets back to Level 1. That doesn't sound terrible but what if I told you each level requires the machine to make internal mechanical adjustments and this is a slow process. I use Level 3 and have to wait 8 seconds for the mechanics to whirr away as it changes its internals before I can press the start button. Those 8 seconds feel like a very long time when you ALWAYS have to select the level before using it even if you want to use it again immediately. The duration of the program cannot be changed. While you can stop and resume, you can't set it to go on continuously for more than the default which is 15 mins. There is no power on/off button so you have to switch it on/off from the mains otherwise the blue lights on it will just flash away which is annoying. The largest stride it does is not very big at all. The distance one foot will move is just 8cm. Is that even considered a stride? The fastest stride cycle is 2 seconds. i.e. the time for your feet to return to their starting position. It's noisy! If you want to watch TV while using it then you need to turn up the volume. If you want to talk to someone next to you then voices have to be raised. I measured the volume to be 52db at feet level and around 40db at head level. It's certainly not as loud as a washing machine but the whirring and grinding sounds are very annoying. A bit more R&D should have been done to find a quieter motor and gears. On the positive side the visual design is good, it looks fairly modern and not like something that was built in a shed (like some similar products I've seen). The 2 buttons on it (level selection and start/pause) are large and can conveniently be pressed with your feet making the remote control redundant.I'm guessing the person who designed the aesthetics isn't the same person who designed the mechanics as the mindset seems a world apart. Talking of which, I'm in two minds about returning it or not. I need my legs to move while sitting down working at my desk for blood circulation reasons, but I don't feel this provides enough movement and I'm not sure if it's worth the noise it makes. If you're only going to use it for one 15 min session a day then the noise is acceptable, but I was hoping to use it for 2 hours per days. The machine doesn't use your muscles as it moves your legs for you, so I don't understand how it can be called an "exerciser". There is no fitness element to this at all, but I can see how it would be useful to someone who is quite immobile and needs slight movement to occur in their knee/ankle joints or for gentle circulation. In my opinion this machine is intended for very old or frail or movement impaired people. If you are not in those categories and you need a way to keep your legs moving for circulation or exercise then this is NOT for you.
