Ditch the plastic as these are superior
The media could not be loaded. First they seemed awful, in a shrink wrap plastic packet, smelling like super strong radishes ugh!!But now a week later, the smell is long gone as is the hot chilli like feeling, seems to be mostly on the bark though, my lips as opposed to in my mouth. They really are just superb, plastic brushes seem to cut my gums now and then and feel nasty, and toothpaste ( dementia causing paste) is also just a waste of time and money, causing damage to health, pockets and the environment, you don't need toothpaste with these, if you want a minty taste then eat a polo or use a breath spray. My teeth are white and healthy after just a week, super cheap so give it a go, persevere and you will also see it's well worth it.

Curious smell/flavour like a struck match
I brought this out of curiosity and thought it would be great to use for travelling.I spent a long time pondering what it smells like and it finally came to me when I caught a whiff of it on my hand so I wrote this review. I would say it smells like a struck match, and has the taste equivalent - bitter, sour and slightly chemical. The stick was easy to peel, but I find the bristles fall off so you have to rinse your mouth very thoroughly after.Too early to say about the whitening properties, but I'm not unhappy with it and will give it a month.

Follow the Sunnah and keep your teeth clean with natures toothbrush
These Miswak sticks are great value. You get 10 for £10 and each one can last you up to 3 - 4 weeks. So you have 10 months of use. They come in an assortment of thicknesses and the lengths are all relatively the same. There are a few really thick ones and some really thin ones which is useful if you want to use them for different cleaning purposes. They're very fresh once you open the packs and the scent is mild but strong, they smell and feel fresh for sometime after opened too. They're very easy to cut and use. If you're here you already know about the benefits of Miswak. They work great as a supplementary cleaning tool in addition to your regular toothbrush, paste and flossing.I use mine 5 times a day for about 2-3 minutes. I brush very gently with little pressure to avoid damage to enamel or gums. You can use the side of the bristles to brush the back of your teeth.I also recommend tongue scraping to take your mouth health to the next level.Miswak is a great Sunnah to follow and a healthy natural way to stay clean.

Keeps teeth clean
This has reduced my tartar and makes my teeth white and smooth. However it's clogged my sink and I have to cut it to use it when I just wanna clean my teeth. Bits of wood get stuck in between my teeth and it stings and really does taste like horseradish its in my saliva which is good and must mean something is breaking down the bacteria. Say try it because your teeth can be clean and shiny but I can't use this everyday.

Cleans teeth really well, freshens breath and aids digestion!!!
This miswak is really good and at an amazing price for 10 miswaks for just 6-7£, compared to my local retailer who wouldve chargerd me around 15£ for 10 miswak definitely recommend easy to use and efficient light weight no need to use water like a regular toothbrush just brush on the go, only slight downside was the size being advertised as 11inches and it only being around 7-8 inches on average but for me that was negligible in terms of the product use

Miswak
Some of them are to fat to brush teeth, but no regrets it's still worth it.

Tastes awful!
It has the most horrendous taste to anything i have ever tried! I find the taste unbearable and I couldn't make use of the product at all.
