Docksides Portland Waxed, Men's Boat Shoes

I have been looking at Deck Shoes for some time, and could not resist these handsome Sebago Docksides. The price discount I just cannot believe! In terms of quality and craftsmanship, comfort and fit (ordered Male size 8 UK), these are amazing, have required no breaking in with socks, barefoot from the off, stylish and comfortable. The only time I take them off if when I go to bed. Thank you.

Perfect service and great boat shows Better than expected

Thought this might be sized similar as the Triton shoe but this is slightly slimmer. I am sure the leather will settle to my feet in time. A nice shoe though.

Grippy soles - good for inspecting roofs. Interesting leather uppers complimenting jeans and leather jackets. Needed a 44 this time but always used to be 43 in this style. Sadly the inner sole moved with wearing had to be cut out, re-centered and re-stuck after three months.

We’ve owned many pairs of Docksides through the years, once broken in they are very comfortable and wear well.

They take a while to break in but when they do, they are great. They will eventually shape to your feet so give them time if they seem uncomfortable to begin with.

Initially, very tight and uncomfortable, but now feel OK after wearing-in at home for past 2 - 3 weeks. No blisters, so the wearing-in wasn't a big issue. Not as smart as Timberland equivalents I've bought over many years, particularly the colour and finish, but stopped buying Timberland when the construction quality went south and the price went north! So still on the lookout for a super smart pair of boat shoes for wearing with dark blue jeans. Might try Chatham Marine next.

I like it alot

Ayant le pied sensible, je suis en principe fidèle à la marque Mephisto dont les chaussures sont confortables comme des pantoufles dès la première minute. Mais pour des chaussures bâteau pour l'été, j'ai eu envie de prendre la marque icônique, dont le nom du modèle "dockside" est devenu un nom commun. Même Renaud en parle dans une chanson. Verdict: si la qualité semble un cran en dessous, ou un demi-cran en dessous des Mephisto, elles se font vite et se révèlent confortables. Sur le plan de look, elles sont superbes. Le cuir semble de belle qualité (malgré quelques "tâches" un peu plus claires) et le travail très soigné. Bref, une très belle qualité à la vue et au toucher pour un prix abordable (deux fois moins que des Mephisto) La paire que j'ai acquise est produite en République Dominicaine, pays dont j'adore le rhum et les cigares et où l'artisanat est mis en valeur (c'est bien mieux que des machins de grande marque produits dans des usines à la chaine en Asie). J'ai essayé 10 minutes à la maison sans chaussettes, c'est ainsi qu'elles se portent, et je suis bien dedans. La pointure est la bonne. Je pense qu'elles se feront vite et seront idéales pour les vacances au soleil avec un short et un polo.

This is my 2nd pair. I'm still breaking them in ,but I can tell they are going to be very comfortable. They are nice leather and look very well constructed. Nice shoes !

Un poco duros. Por lo demás estupendos.

Me gusta su diseño , su forma , sus materiales. No me gusta el acabado del producto , deja muchísimo que desear...una pena.
