The songs and quirkiness of this film make it a firm favourite and there's a few more jokes in this one for older children and grown ups making it a little more enjoyable to watch than some of the others. Our 3 year old finds parts of this hillarious, as did we on the first viewing. The novelty has worn off now we've seen it a gazillion times but little one is kept thoroughly entertained for the duration which is always nice!

The best Thomas movie yet. Great storyline, good message and really fun, catchy tunes (our personal favourite is Diesel's "Full of Surprises". My son really loves this film and since we got it at Christmas, it has been watched most days. My personal favourite moment is a little feminist nod, when Ashima points out that, "Just because we are well painted, doesn't mean we can't do anything else."Really recommend for any Thomas fan.

Great movie! Lovely to see a fair bit of diversity positively introduced in terms of new characters, plus an uplifting story line - about the importance of self-belief and self-worth. We saw this with my five children aged 2-11 at the cinema, and loved it so much we ordered the DVD. the soundtrack is memorable and a real strong point. Highly recommended.

This was one of greatest Thomas films I have seen. Seeing it as a musical is funny. The first song was funny as it made me laugh. The Flying Scotsman came back after a little appearance on Season 3 episodes Tender Engines. But what's best is the whole film. I look forward to the next film in 2017. ☺

Has to be the worst Thomas film I've had to endure, the songs are so cheesy and the singing is abysmal!!It would have been better with just a few of the songs.Really disappointed in this one - at least all the others are tolerable as an adult to watch!However it kept my 3 year old mesmerised and he seemed to enjoy it so I guess I can't complain to much!Fast delivery by Amazon as always though.

My son is thomas mad, he has toys, clothes and loads of dvds. I bought this to add to his collection of dvds. My son thinks this is a great film and has enjoyed watching it. It has all of the usual trains in it and some have had a make over.
