Fits 2005 V6 Mustang and works great !
It fit nicely on 2005 v6 mustang, so happy to be rid of plastic crap they put on it and the heater hose nipple just broke off and stranded me out of town, no warning with leaking before it just broke apart. The installed temp sensor and thermostat are calibrated to exactly what i had in originally. Very good price and its fairly heavy. It comes with new o-ring also.

2007 Mustang 4.0 V6
Purchased this to replace the original plastic leaking one my 2007 Mustang 4.0 V6. It fit perfectly and I high high hopes for long term durability with its metal construction. It came with the temperature sensor and thermostat included and installed, I went with those as both are not too difficult to replace if they fail.the price was very good for such a upgrade over the plastic original part.

About time
I’ve had to replace the thermostat assembly in both of my 4.0 sohc fords every year since I’ve had them. The plastic gets brittle and leaks. Factory issue I know but they came up with a metal design and I’ve just converted my last 4.0 over to this style. Being a 29 year ford tech I can’t see why ford didn’t come up with this but hey it is out now and way cheaper than ford would sell it for anyways. A year so far on one and still going so I’ve already proved it’s better than the plastic factory version.
