School dress up for my son, perfect for use

Waistcoat was acceptable but not wonderful. For the price paid it fitted the purpose for a school production.

Purchased for my 11 year old, was a bit worried about the sizing but fits perfectly. Quality fine for the money. It will only be worn twice for a school performance so wasn’t too worried

This waistcoat was perfect for my little boys victorian day! Was pleased with quality for price. Ordered last minute so was worried it wouldn't get here in time but arrived very quickly! Also had to intact customer services to ask if they could send quickly and found them very helpful!

I have to start by congratulating the seller on the super-speedy delivery - I ordered this item yesterday afternoon and it arrived this morning! That's a service you don't experience very often these days. This little waistcoat is OK - can't get too excited about it. Had to get one as my son's class is experiencing a day as a Victorian school child next week and he wanted to go as a little ragamuffin so I thought it ideal. You can't tell from the picture but the material has a slightly acrylic-velvety feel to it and I must admit that upon opening it up it looks slightly more suited to an Aladdin outfit! The One Size claims to fit up to a 34" chest which I think will be snug but as it won't be done up at the front I don't suppose this really matters. I'm sure my son will be delighted and really feel the part!

"Handmade?? ..Hahahahahahaha!!" - said my incredibly disappointed 10 year old, with whom I picked it as part of his outfit for his lead in his school play. " A piece of utter tat", was my response. Funny old thing, but in years of buying on line, this rubbish is the first time I have been furious and compelled to review. I don't know where to start. It's laughable. As an initial note: "one size fits all"...?! Really?! Seriously? It could barely fit my toy poodle puppy. My son is a skinny age ten and it doesn't fit across his chest. But, that's not what is worst. It is so patently NOT handmade and of the cheapest fabric I have ever seen. Compounded by the inclusion of the, I would assume, the unintentionally hilarious 'chlorine-free paper' leaflet enclosed, confirming that my piece of tat was 'handmade' in Stoke and that they 'keep (their) use of plastic and packaging to a minimum'. Right. Really? I am very interested as to how a handmade item has self evidently been machine made and, yet, given the company's purported 'green' credentials, my tat was wrapped in two separate layers of plastic packaging. As to their stance that their costumes are " made from man-made fabrics .... because......cotton and linen will not pass the strict international flammability standards".......? I would like to know on what they base this. I assume that they are unaware that polyester, once alighted, melts and sticks to children's skin. The item has no confirmation on the label as to which country that my tat is made in, but, according to Amazon and the booklet they provided, it is handmade and done so in the UK. I actually haven't bought any item of clothing in years which doesn't have the country of make denoted. I hope that this is able to be substantiated. Being silent as to the country is suspicious. Most UK companies confirm UK made as a huge selling point!! Otherwise it's an audacious claim and something that would need to be taken further.

Really thin and rubbish quality. It's more of a colour change against a white shirt but for my son's drama show it does the job.

The quality is pretty good for a costume vest. I bought it for my son's Halloween costume and he is 4. It is a little big on him, but perfect for his costume.

Perfect match. Needed this item for a goofy costume and worked like a charm.

Abbiamo regalato questo triciclo che ho montato personalmente al momento che lo abbiamo scartato e molto utile per le diverse funzioni intercambiabili nella stessa bicicletta dai primi passi fino alle prime pedalate. Soddisfatti noi e il bambino della coppia che lo ha ricevuto.
