I am an engineer and used to working with sound and audio projects.This unit has too many issues!It pairs successfully, however gets disconnected all too easy. Hold either unit in the hand, or turn away from receiver it disconnects.I have tried the audio from receiver with three speaker systems, I can hear the beeps when pressing on/off button, however audio from microphone works for five seconds and stops working. If I pair again, works for 5 seconds!Tried to increase microphone gain, .... "While speaking click the ON/OFF button once to increase gain and repeat ...."When I press ON/OFF it goes into pairing mode!This unit does not work. Do not waste your time with this item.

These are a great concept but the product is flawed in four important respects. Firstly, each time I used the product the mic and receiver had to be re-paired - this is contrary to the manual. Secondly, the single multi function button that controls the mic gain and input strength in to video camera or head phones on the receiver unit was a fiddly to use and it had be reset each time the units re-paired. Thirdly, the effective blue-tooth range was half that set out in the manual. Finally, the sound quality for recording was awful when input into my Panasonic camcorder.All in all I cannot recommend this product as advertised and I have no reason to think my units are faulty and found it not fit for purpose. Which is a shame because its a neat idea.
