Spectra Pre-Sterilised Disposable Breast Milk Storage Bags (30 pcs)

Fabulous bags, highly recommend these. I have used Boots own brand and Lansinoh bags, and wish I had bought Spectra bags to begin with. These bags don't leak (unlike Lansinoh) and hold an impressive 7oz (compared to Boots 5oz). The bags feel strong and certainly keep milk stored well. So far I have defrosted about 10 bags of milk from various dates with no issues. Good value for money too.

Brilliant product and great value for money. I was looking for some bags to store expressed milk and this product fitted the purpose perfectly. I don't use anything else and not had a problem with splits or leaks. Yes it is annoying that you have to write directly onto the bag without there being a treated area to do this but I just write on before hand and fill in the oz and time after. Perfect product!

Easy to use, rip open top. Easy sealable. Can be stored laying flat and upright despite what it says. Brilliant!

I have tried different brands of breastmilk storage bags: Medela, Ardo, Lansinoh and Boots. My review is based upon using the bags to store and freeze breastmilk only. I haven't used the bags to pump directly into as you can with some brands. From my experience of breastmilk storage bags, there are two kinds. There is a thin version which doesn't stand up - these are similar to the Lansinoh ones. They are considerably cheaper than the Medela, Ardo, Spectra and Boots bags, but I don't find them to be as useful as the second type of bag. The second is made from a thicker plastic and can stand up. If you are freezing or refrigerating milk, the fact that the bags stand up is a bonus as this can prevent leaks. In terms of thickness, the Medela and Ardo breastmilk storage bags are the thickest and are of a better quality than their rivals. They are however more expensive than other similar brands. This is where the Spectra and Boots bags come in. Both Spectra and Boots bags are made from the thicker plastic and they stand up. Neither are quite as thick as the Medela or Ardo bags, but they do come a close second (and third!). So which is better, Spectra or Boots? Having tried both, Boots breastmilk storage bags are thicker than Spectra and are the closest to the thickness of the Medela and Ardo bags. So, in order of preference: Medela/Ardo, Boots, Spectra and then Lansinoh. If you are trying to decide between these bags and the Lansinoh ones, I would choose these ones every time as they are superior.

Fantastic product at half the price of the typical branded products people are used to seeing. I have fallen victim to buying only branded items because I didn't know any different but have since discovered these and am pleased at the quality and price. It's great that they are also free standing allowing you to pour milk into them withou spilling it everywhere Highly recommended for fellow breastfeeding/pumping mum's.

I bought these to store syringes of expressed milk prior to giving birth. Having I didn't need them, but they came in handy for breast feeding and when I was expressing milk, as it saved having to sterilise storage cups or bottles to keep in the fridge, as these are pre-sterilised. They are easy to use and also to freeze expressed milk. Will definitely be ordering more of these when needed, as they are reasonably priced.

When you first fill them no problem. Then when you freeze them and take them out to defrost, what a joke. Tried to heat in warm water, nope, all the milk leaked into the water. Tried to put it in fridge to defrost and it still leaked all the milk, so had to clean fridge and lost lots of breastmilk which is especially terrible when you rely on that milk. I cant even describe just how pi..ed i am, i had a screaming baby and wasted precious milk, the company needs shutting down. Some people may think this is over the top, any mother that pumps will agree with me.

Great bags, use them to store milk for when my wee one goes to nanna's for the odd afternoon (and I can have a nap/tidy up!). She's only 8 weeks so I usually only express about 3oz at a time - perfect for us. :) Have found they defrost well and have had no leaks. Would buy again :)

This bags are awesome. My favorite feature was the temperature indicator on the bottom. It was pretty spot on. The stored easily and flattened well in the freezer. DO NOT OVERFILL. It has that limit for a reason. I didnt listen and the bag popped open in the freezer, so learn from me and keep it within the range.

These bags are good! Haven’t had any issues with them ripping, or anything. I’ve never written on them with pen though, only permanent marker. You can’t pump directly into them without an adapter so if that’s what you’re looking for they aren’t for you. Only thing is the measurements are kind of useless.. bag has to be positioned a certain way for them to be accurate. So if I’m freezing a bag flat it’s going to say I have 7oz when I really have 4. But I get around this by measuring into a bottle first and then writing the amount on the bag before I freeze.
