What do you do when you have smelly sporting equipment or dog blankets? Use Hex detergent and throw them in a sanitary wash cycle. You will be pleased with the results! Just as expensive or slightly more than everyday laundry detergent but worth it!

worked, but expensive
This product worked, but cleaning disgusting hockey equipment in the tub, I had to use more product than expected. I used the prescribed amount, then slowly added and agitated the equipment. For 3 tub-loads, I used about 2/3 of both of the bottles. That made it pretty expensive, but it did work well and got the smell out, except for the gloves, which I'm afraid are hopeless. They do, however, smell so much better, it was worth it!!

My sons LAX gear smelled so, so bad and after practice he'd smell like his gear, not a B.O smell, something far worse. I used this product and it removed all the odor - yay!!!
