Skincare Sensitive After Shave Balm for Men Hydrates & Soothes 100 ml

This after shave balm is great for sensitive skin. It goes on smoothly, hydrates well, and calms any irritation without feeling heavy or greasy. The scent is light and clean, and a little goes a long way. A reliable everyday product that does exactly what it promises.

Nice & smooth

By far the most effective after shave balm I've ever used. Even applying it 3 hours late after my skin had already started itching badly after a shave, this soothed the irritation. Within 10 minutes of applying the redness and itch was gone. Staggeringly good. I love that it has almost no smell, just a bland sort of oatmeal-like smell that disappears almost completely after fully rubbing it in. It will certainly not interfere with whatever fragrances you choose to wear with it. I am forced to deduct one star however for the dispenser. It is impossible to get it to squirt out any less than about double what you need. If you're even slightly careless, it will be 3 or 4 times the amount you could realistically apply. It's because it has a sort of rubber pustule through which the liquid erupts, and none will erupt until sufficient pressure is applied to split the nozzle end of the pustule. As soon as you have sufficient pressure, the minimum that escapes with immediate release of pressure, is way more than you need. So I'm used to just squirting into one hand, dabbing on what I need and then washing off the rest, before rubbing in to face and neck. Such a waste. But at least it's cheap. I will heartily recommend to anyone with sensitive skin. Its a life saver. Just be aware you'll only get the benefit of at most half the bottle. The rest goes down the rain. If you can live with that, its a first rate buy.

I find that NIVEA MEN Sensitive Post Shave Balm irritated my skin so gave the Bull Dog balm a try and find its way better for my skin and as a plus is a lot cheaper for the same volume of product. The Bull Dog is great value for money and is a great product.

This is a nice "aftershave balm" for the price, if you are looking for a cheap, non-scented moisturiser. It is soothing and just about does what is required. It helps to re-hydrate the skin after shaving to an extent, but the product is a bit thin and does not provide sufficient moisture for my skin. It doesn't have a strong scent, but the hint of a smell that I do get from it I don't love. The bottle is such that I always end up squeezing out too much product. Personally, after taking the time to shave with my DE Razor and shaving soaps, I would prefer to finish my shave with a higher quality, scented product, perhaps one which provides more moisture too. As a cheap post-shave moisturiser you can't go wrong with this product, but it is what it is. I think my money would be better spent elsewhere and I imagine this will go to the back of the cupboard as soon as I get a new aftershave balm.

Nice and creamy although like others it’s not the easiest container to get the contents out without spilling it everywhere, as long as you are careful and pour it slowly it is much better. The balm is nice and smooth and feels wonderful when applied

I first bought this after reading reviews on aftershave balms. It was highly recommended and sure enough, it’s great. I really like it and it’s not expensive either. There is however a big but. The container is absolutely useless. When you squeeze it, balm spurts out like an over-excited teenager having his first experience and you get far too much. And then, once the container is down to about half full, it turns into an 80 year old and won’t spurt out anything. All in all I high recommend this but come on Bulldog, get the container sorted
