Really Impressed
Was looking for a sturdy Tawa/Pan. Great to make Chappatis, Rotis, Parathas. Build is made to a high quality. Price is a steal. I've already recommended to a few people.

Bad material!!
Just bought and asked for return. I’ve tried it one time and turn out like in the pictures. The cappatti was sticked and burned. I’ve tried even to clean it but nothing good.Try to by other item.

Pretty good Tawa
Well having used the Tawa tonight it made perfect nann breads. I have to say, very impressed with the outcome of the breads for a first use. The pan is not light weight so gave it three stars, but thats a good thing in my opinion, and the quality seems good for the price point. I went for the large pan which in my opinion is the smallest I would go for if you want to make nann. It cleaned up ok, but the biggest pain was the manufacture's sticker in the middle! It was a right bugger to remove the adhesive!! It took me about 30 mins with a scouring pad and rubbing alcohol. On that note there is quite a lot of grime (oil used to protect the steel) to rub off of the surface but the rubbing alcohol took care of it. This needs to be removed before first use. The Tawa is steel I believe and not cast iron, and this is I beleive the material that should be used for construction. Overall a good quality cooking utensil for nanns, which is why I bought it. I would recomend this for making authentic indian breads :)

Mixed emotions ..
Hmm mixed emotions about this product. Personally, I don’t actually think this is cast iron. It seems more like anodised aluminium, as it does not seem to respond well when seasoned and under high heat - which is needed to seal the oil. A black residue is left behind, which I cannot seem to get rid of and smells burnt.Arrived chipped along the side and not in the best condition. No instructions. Just stickers that I struggled to get off, in very annoying places. It’s reasonably priced compared to some of the other pans on here, but don’t know if it’s worth the agg! Some of the older comments/images look promising - wondering if this product has changed over the years!

All in one
Writing review after using this tawa for almost a week, I was actually bit hesitant to buy after reading some negative reviews but this is exactly what I wanted. For a long time I was searching for a option to replace my nonstick tawa. If done proper seasoning this is wonder & a all rounder tawa. I can make chapati, omelet, dosa without any hassle.
