This rack is tough and sturdy. I used it in combination with a Kimimoto bag on my CRF300LS. It is also supposed to be compatible with the backup fuel can, which I am going to try next. I would recommend the rack and it looks great on the bike.

Sturdy, easy to install and looks great. Weighs about 3.5lbs... no big deal to me
