I tested a wet snippet of bleached hair for 30 mins, absolutely no difference whatsoever. Re tested a snippet overnight and that seemed to take. I followed someones suggestion on here and covered my bleached hair with the dye but while it was dry (not wetted). Left on for 3 hours with a plastic cover on (and warmed with a hairdryer occasionally). Worked perfectly. I'd recommend getting it done professionally, which I will now be doing, as soon as my hairdresser gets back of holiday. In the meantime, my employer is going to have to lump it. However, it was still a very light silver despite my hair being almost identical in colour to the starting colour on the box. The colour also only lasted 2 washes. When I did my whole head the next day (after attempting highlights realised that's impossible if you have no help) I left it on much longer for half hour this time, when I rinsed it out noticed the patch test section was quite light but the rest of my hair was pretty much the same also my roots were completely unaffected. On the plus note the conditioner included in the packet makes your hair really shiny.
