Philips myGarden Creek Outdoor Wall, Light Black (Requires 1 x 60 W E27 Bulb)

very well made, stylish and modern, would recommended these lights they are not cheap plastic.

This was chosen to replace an alloy outdoor lantern which had corroded and the paint subsequently flaked badly. I wanted an ES bulb fitting to suit a Philips Hue white + colour bulb and I liked the style of the lamp Over the usual upright lantern styles available.Fitting was a breeze and took less than 30 minutes as I already had the wiring and switch in place from the old lamp. Although I like the look, this lamp is very light in weight and used clear plastic rather than glass so it doesn’t have a particularly robust feel to it. It look fine though, and does the job, so overall it was a decent buy. *Every product I review has been purchased with my own money and I receive no incentives from anyone. I've had four of these up for the past 6 months or so - and they look great - especially as they're a fraction of the price they are at Wickes The body of the lamp is aluminium, with a clear plastic insert. Being aluminium, it won't rust, which is brilliant - an I've put some LED filament bulbs in them, so they should never need touching again. One thing to be wary of is the two nuts that affix the light to the back-box. They're small and very fiddly to insert, even with a nut driver. They'd be VERY easy to lose. Hopefully I'll never have to remove them again The only thing I'm slightly nervy of is the longevity of the plastic insert - I really don't have a feel for how long they'll remain clear. We'll see......

Looks great, great price, only took me 10 minutes to put up. Only criticism is it would have been nice for the information label to have been on the back of the fitting

It should work fine. I haven't been able to fit mine, yet, because I dropped one of the bolts while offering up the back plate to mark the wall. Please, don't do what I did. Take off the rubber gasket, remove all potentially unfixed parts, before taking it anywhere near plants or soil. The bolts will fall out and vanish into an alternative dimension. So, I asked a question about which size bolts were used to fix the back plate to the front. Unfortunately, I can't seem to answer my own question so I have no way of explaining that the people answering my question seem to have me at cross purposes. The screws (the screws are what fixes the backplate to the wallplugs) are not the problem at all. It's the bolts that need to be exactly the right size. Anyway, after much trial and error I have finally managed to buy bolts that fit. They are M4 25 bolts. Oh, for the days when there was a friendly family hardware shop on every corner.... I could have just taken my remaining bolt in and asked, "What is this, please? Do you have any the same?" Instead I had to Google and, unfortunately, Google LIES!! I now have lots and lots of quite small (and probably not much use) bolts.. The finish on the lamp - it's okay. I bought the top hanging version and there's a large scuff on the bottom as if it was a bottom supported version at some point. It's very strange. I don't really mind if it tarnishes a bit. So long as it doesn't perish.

Got two of these to replace some older lights and really happy with build quality and styling. Didn’t want the PIR version and these are just great and very easy to fit. Some little nuts involved - so I chose to keep my gloves off otherwise it may have been a bit tricky. Can highly recommend

My son fixed this as my back light. With a smart lightbulb it works a treat.

He acertado plenamente con la compra. Son de buena calidad, aluminio, y aunque la pantalla NO es cristal, es de plástico decente, muy transparente, refleja la luz de forma perfecta, y lo mejor es que esa pantalla es como un cubo que se coloca en el esqueleto metálico y que no deja parar el agua de lluvia a la parte interior. Se coloca muy fácil (no lleva ni tacos ni tornillos) y viene con instrucciones es español que no está nada mal. La estética es bonita y quedan muy elegantes colocados. Estoy muy satisfecha con la compra.
