Bahco S4RM / 3T chrome vanadium steel socket wrench set, size 8mm-19mm

Great spanners, versatile and only needed 3 instead of 12, every size from 8mm through to 19mm.

So I bought these because not only are they a very good company for hand tools but also because the idea of cutting the amount of spanners down to just 3 instead of 12 sounded like less weight in the tool bag that is already pretty heavy (engineer) They are a interesting tool as its almost a hybrid of a ratchet handle and socket in the shape of a spanner so it can sometimes eliminate the need for a socket set build quality they are very strong and robust especially as I do use them daily for work.the only thing I can say which can be an annoyance is if I need a open end spanner as of course these don't have them but that isn't the end of the world which is why I still give them 5 stars. Since then I have added the next two sizes up to my collection aswell as I have been that happy with them, They are by no means the only tool you'll need as sometimes you'll need open end spanners aswell but they are damn handy to have as a option in the bag.

These tools give me a reassurance of quality. They look and feel professional in the hand. I've used them only a few times, but they give the feeling of positive action without an suspicion that they're going to wear out any time soon. I also love that in a very small amount of space and weight, I've got a lot of different sizes. I'm still keeping my separate spanners for those tight nuts and bolts that might require a lot of torque and therefore shear off, or simply a second spanner to hold the back of the nut / bolt. These spanners though will be used in the main, just because they are so convenient.

Fantastic set of ratchet spanners, really well made - they feel nice and sturdy but despite having large heads are not overly heavy. The switch for changing between tightening and loosening is really positive and the feel whilst working is also positive. The little carry/hip pouch is really nicely made and is useful for keeping them together, while they don't entirely replace open ended spanners they have replaced my need for the open ended versions by about 95%, and enabled me to get bolts out of engines much quicker that the non-ratchet/open ended variety did. I can happily recommend these spanners, especially at such a good price!

These are really great spanners and is my second set of the same set the bahco are really nice quality used my last set for a few year everyday but managed to break the ratchet on the 13 15 end but this was due to me abusing it hard.... Would cost £20 to replace the one spanner so bought another full set instead.... Although the ratchet heads can be a little bit large for certain spaces due to clearance I have no hesitations in recommending these... They really are a great set of spanners for the price 5* I have some wera too but these are my go too set

BahcoS4RM3T. Having seen many higher prices for these items, I was dubious of the origin and quality of these tools. Upon delivery I closely inspected the tools and packaging. The tool quality looked good and the packaging looked genuine. However I saw the small print in the corner of the box which stated " made in Taiwan" . I was a little horrified to see this! I contacted Bahco in the uk and they confirmed that these tools are in fact made in Taiwan. So hopefully a very good set of ratchet spanners at an extremely good price. Time will tell as these will be used by my son who is a marine engineer. Item was ordered and delivered within a few days. Well packaged and got what I ordered.

Well i don't have a great deal of use for spanners in my wood workshop so buying a hole set just for the odd time of using them made buy this set from Bahco ideal. I'm so happy i did.... i just love this set, well made and just the right weight and size for those difficult table saw and other tool maintenance work plus other jobs in the 'shop'. Now being they are ring spanners means they are not tight corner spanners but were you have a bit of space they are second to none and all stored in a tough well made case.

Excellent piece of kit, Bahco has become a brand I can trust. I was concerned that the heads would be oversized and too awkward to fit within the Electrical panel boards I work on, not anymore. My second concern was the strength of the rachet action. Well, I have been using them almost every day since purchase, from the 10mm to the 17mm and I've had no issues with them. I've tightened panel bolts way past the recommended torque settings with these and they haven't slipped once. Fantastic kit, fantastic price.

3 wrenches that fit 90%(+) of nuts and bolts that I need a wrench for. Good quality tools, and instead of lugging a full socket -set or full set of wrenches around, these 3 fit in my pack and cover everything except for some hard to reach spots
