I was honestly impressed with this anti-age hair dye. The formula is gentle, nourishing, and doesn’t burn or irritate the scalp like many others I’ve tried. What I loved the most is how soft, shiny, and youthful my hair looks after using it. It covers gray hairs perfectly and the color looks natural, vibrant, and long-lasting. My hair also feels stronger and healthier, almost like a deep-conditioning treatment was included. The texture improved, the frizz reduced, and it added a beautiful glow. I have been getting my hair done at a salon for over 15 years. I have medium brown hair and when my roots start to grow in, I have a decent amount of gray hairs. Normally every three to four weeks, I go to the salon for a root touch up. Well, the last time I went, I was just not happy with the way my hair looked. So, I tried to lighten my hair a little with a common brand of box dye. The results were terrible, none of the grays were covered and my roots were much lighter than the rest of my hair, it really looked horrible. I waited about 2 to 3 weeks and then purchased this AGEbeautiful dye and a 20 volume developer. I had very little hopes on how my hair would end up! I mixed everything up and did my roots first then the rest of my hair, I waited the amount of time per the instructions, and then rinsed everything out. I could not believe the results! It was AMAZING. My hair was all one color and ALL of grays were completely covered! Not only did it look great, it literally looks like I sat in the salon for hours, and my hair looks silky and vibrant! The color is beautiful. I plan to use this to touch up my roots going forward and skip the salon unless I need a haircut. Trust me, purchase this and the 20 volume, you will not be dissapointed, it is not cheap box dye, it is definitely salon grade formula and it was the best decision I made. I will be a customer for life!

I love this brand, and that’s comin from a curly girl (2b-3a), but oh my gosh, it comes out DARK. I got 3NN and I was just wanting a dark brown but it’s basically black. At least it looks alright lol, but I would definitely do half the time instead of full.

Favorite hair dye to use. So many colors to pick from, the colors hold longer than most other dyes and it is safer for your hair than some other options out there. I’ve used a variety of different colors at this point and will continue to over spend hundreds in a salon. Pro tip, using cool water to rinse out helps it last a bit longer.

First off yes, you do need to purchase developer separately. It states very clearly in large enough size print that developer is needed and not included. That being said this is an excellent product. I was looking for a brown with some plum color. My hair is dark brown with red and blond highlights and some grays. While my initial intent didn't concern the gray I was happy in the end with the fact that my grays were covered. My hair looks fantastic. It looks dark brown in certain lighting but in florescent and outside lighting it looks plum brown which was the point. I'm happy with my purchase and this is the dye I will be buying from now on.

Okay so I am not a cosmetologist. I am not a chemist. I am not an artist. Nor am I anything close to patient. Boxed dye and I have had a long hate/hate relationship and boy am I glad that when I got a wild hair up my you know what before my birthday a few weeks ago and decided to take my hair by the roots (literally) and go wild (mid-life crisis maybe?) at home I picked Age Beautiful! In 3 short weeks I have taken my hair on a trip around the color wheel from dark blonde to light golden blonde with an attempt at ash blonde highlights (may I please get a Never Again!) to level 9 platinum blonde - where I got a glimpse of what the future could hold in 50 years if I didn’t pull my self back together, get some moxie and correct my mess with some gusto!!! Saving grace as I refuse to age gracefully? The hair color I chose is actually formulated to protect, preserve and strengthen hair despite the best efforts of home color artists like me who seem intent on sending it by the fistful down the drain, in a tangled mess of frazzled broken strands, despite their sleepless nights, endless internet searches, Reddit and Quora quests for knowledge, endless hours of “how to” videos, and somehow wading through all the mixed and often contradictory info and advice out there from professionals and home colorists doing their best to herd us like cats (because cats go wherever they please, thank you very much) toward a professional if we desire drastic change and don’t know what the hell we’re doing! I am pleased to say, however, that with some potential peril, major disasters were neutralized and major sanity was reached in the end. And while my now slightly darker, slightly more golden, and a bit more intensely colored locks are headed to the salon for a fabulous new cut after our ride on my crazy train, all in all, we’re not too much worse for wear! A few weeks of therapy, with intensive bonding, conditioning, love and TLC (yes for the hair, people!) and my tresses and I will be as good as we’ve ever been! A sincere thank you to the pros at Age Beautiful who offered their sage, straight forward and strategic advice. They also knew after I reached out the third time to tell me to get my butt to the salon and stop my weird science! So that’s what I’m doing! I am so grateful for these products designed to protect my hair and enhance it when the dance is done. And I have only the highest respect and gratitude to the professionals who valued me enough as a consumer to respond and help. In my humble opinion, this says First Class company taking care of all of us they impact from Amateur to Zohan, er Zotos (aka Master in Greek)…. My play on A-Z … lol! So today I am a happy home colorista with hair remaining to be styled and a fun story on the crazy train around the color wheel to tell, and lots of new reasons to feel blessed and grateful. Funny… never had the same feeling recovering from the damned stuff in the box with the Saran Wrap gloves. So best wishes to my fellow self coloring practitioners. Ive been dying my hair for 30 years noth at home/salon. The older you get the harder it is to cover grey hair + the frequency gets shorter + shorter between dyes. Discovering Age Beautiful Hair Dye has been fantastic. OMG!! Permanent Hair Colour that stays its rich deep colour + doesnt wash out down the drain. doesn't start to fade after 1 week + lasts (me - might be different for ea user) 4-5 weeks depending on how much regrowth you are ok with. I have mid-long hair + got x3 "dyes" from 2 tubes. just ordered 3 more tunes. THE BEST DIY Hair Dye EVER. Thank You xx
