I'm not sure how much my review can help as I am a complete novice when it comes to fish ponds.I inherited my pond with the recent purchase of a new house. After a bit of fiddling, some Googling and YouTubing I had a fountain, and (very green) water running through the filter and eventually arriving at the top of a waterfall via a lions mouth. After a few days of cleaning the filters 2/3 times a day the water started to get a bit thinner, albeit still very green. I found and ordered Sludge Klear, I also found out about uv bulbs! Who knew?!So using the Sludge Klear I have petty much followed the instructions, although I don't know how many litres the pond holds, I'm pretty certain its no larger than 5000 litres. I gave it a double dose to begin with and switched the light off for 4 days, true to the instructions after a few days the pond was very cloudy, and more gunge in the filters. After a week I added a single dose and switched the light off for 2 days, again the pond got more cloudy, towards the end of the second week the pond was definitely improving with water clarity. I put another single dose in three days ago, there has been a definite improvement in the water. I can start to see the fish when they are below the surface, and today I saw three fish. Since the beginning of all this I had only ever seen one! Still more time to pass to give Sludge Klear its full six weeks or so, but definitely so far so good.

At first you will wonder if you wasted your money, but this product does work. I started my application 6 weeks ago & only just started seeing the results.

Great item for clearing up the sludge, and although a little dear it works and so is value, give real water clarity ansd lasts just over four weeks when it needs tobe repeated

Went from Murky to clear in 1 week. Cleaned filter daily and Water clarity is perfect now.

Quite good will need a few more treatments. But can recommend item.

Use this product for a few weeks now I’ll have to say I haven’t seen any improvement for such an expensive item just doesn’t work
