My new goldfish tank has started to smell after a few days can this eliminate it?

no, this won't solve your smell, likely if it is a new tank, 1) you need to let it recycle first before adding fish 2) use a filter starter that has added nitrifying bacteria 3) use a dechlorinator 4) go for sera as a safe bet 5) could be also overfeeding 6) not change the water too quickly if it is a new tank as you need to filter and water parameters to settle first - too frequent water changes will not allow the filter settle nor allow your fish to settle 7) another reason could be too many fish in the size tank - overstocking/overfeeding reduces water quality and more water changes 8) should only start water changes after the water parameters has settled in the new tank 9) don't feed too much in the new tank as it adds pressure to the filter

Definitely not, killed mine within 24 hours.

Does this have a shelf life just need this to hand as a precaution in case my sump dies

So long as it is stored properly it should be fine for 2 years

if i have a 33l tank how much of this would i add, surely i wouldnt add the full 25ml to the pint of water for only 33l?
