Yes, it's a fake chemical. But it's easy to use, purely sweet at low quantity and super handy when you're baking with natural sweeteners and realise you've slightly under sweetened. Also handy when making sauces/ cookingIt's my guilty secret but this stuff is amazing in a pinch. Mega mega sweet so use sparringly.(It does have a very slight funny chemically but not "diet coke chemical taste" at high concentration/if not used with strong flavours)

Perfect for me! Enough sweet and I use mostly to make sweet fat Free cottage Cheese dessert pot and even hot porrage! no belly pain, no bloating effect! Good old sccaharin! I know there is a belief its not good for ur health but I was totally happy with it back then and I tryed the new popular duo "erythriol&xilitol" but unfortunately I can't tolerate them: I suffer awful flatulence & bloating so I ve decided I give a shot for this and I like it so much!I don't feel bitter aftertaste either.I am sure I gonna buy this liquid sweetener again.I didn't bake with it yet but I will update if I try it out.

Excellent stuff, sweet without an after taste. My mum was using this year's ago, and I was surprised to find it was still available, so I use it on my cereal, among other things. No calories and sweet, so five stars from me. Oh also its good value for money, goes a long way

I haven't used this before, my husband has the jars of granules., It is incredibly sweet, a tiny drop tastes like a tablespoon of sugar so a little goes a very very long way, you need to be very careful as you use it or it will overwhelm what you are sweetening.An excellent product.

It can take a while to figure out quantities if using this to replace sugar in recipes but once you've cracked it this is a fantastic way to replace sugar without adding carbs. Regular granulated Hermesetas has to be bulked out with something so it looks more like sugar and this bulking agent adds carbs. Using this liquid Hermesetas I can make amazing chocolate mousse pots at only 2g net carbs per serving, simply by using the classic eggs/cream recipe (plus 85% cocoa dark chocolate) and replacing the sugar with this. As the recipe doesn't rely on sugar for structure in any way, adding it in liquid form is not a problem. I love it and am delighted I can order it from Amazon whereas previously I had to take pot luck at a selection of pharmacies who almost never have it in stock.

Feeling sick of the effects of aspartame on my body (diarrhoea and wind!) I decided to go back to saccharin, an old-fashioned sweetener which does not upset my stomach. This liquid sweetener is not saccharin but it seems not to upset meysystem. It has no particular aftertaste that I can detect, though some disagree. A little goes a very long way, too. It is hard to get this in the shops now so I was glad to find it on Amazon and by ordering it as an extra, I did not have to pay for postage.

I buy this sweetener for a gentleman I work for and he is very satisfied with it.The top has a dripper, so you can easily make your drink (or food) as sweet as you like.

The best sweetener, in my opinion, but now really expensive, price suddenly doubled.
