This is lovely, and although pricey, you really don't need to use much after each shave, a little goes a long way. Would buy again.

After a close shave using the EJ Sandalwood Shaving Soap, this is delightful, a small drop can be massaged into your entire face / neck, and by really massaging it for a minute or two, it makes a big difference on the effect. Applying aftershave balm is like brushing your teeth you can do it quickly or take a little more time, do it properly and get better results. Rub this really well in to your skin, especially if you have sensitive areas around your neck, and it will do wonders. It also smells amazing! Will re-order this product.

This aftershave, being a cream rather more than the usual cologne type, provides the perfect texture to the skin after a shave. Not greasy at all and wouldn't overdry the skin either, its fragrance was also surprising, which would definitely make heads turn to your way... could be overpowering sometimes, usage is important, and by that : only a small atmount should be used or else it would be tacky... could be helpful to those with acne Definitely buy next time...

So I was skeptical to buy this product because of some of the negative reviews but I must say this is an awesome product. I have very sensative skin, and any condition pretty much affects my skin. When I come out of the shower if I don't moisturize my face right away I will have really dry skin the rest of the day. I have used many aftershave lotions, spent lots of money on different ones. But this one works the best for me. Shaving is truly a pleasurable expeirence if you have the right tools. You really feel like a man when you can get that great shave. I am a wet shaver. I shave as soon as I get out of the shower, perfect when the face has been steamed and the pores are opened up. I apply a small amount of shaving oil to the face (to allow the blade to glide easily on the face and to moisturize the skin better). Then I apply warm shaving soap with a Badger Brush to massage the face. The aroma from the shaving soap, the warmth of the suds and the massage from the brush, there are very few things that feel better than this. Then I go to town with the razor. I like an extremely smooth face with no stubble when I glide my hand over my face in any direction. After I finish, I wash my face with cold water to close the pores and then I apply the aftershave. My face comes out very smooth, very mositurized, but not greasy. My girlfriend loves the smell, its a nice clean scent but not overpowering at all. The mositure lasts all day which is what I had trouble with when it comes to every other product Ive used. Is it expensive? No. I think of expensive when I feel a product is not worth what you pay for it. This stuff has been a game changer. I am supper confident after I shave and apply this aftershave. I absolutely love it. Don't knock it until you try it!

I've been using the Edwin Jagger Sandalwood aftershave moistuizer for a couple weeks and I like it. I use it only on the areas of my face that I shave, not as an overall facial moisturizer. It is a light moisturizer, not too thick or heavy. The scent is very subtle but nice. It doesn't smell like natural sandalwood oil but it's nice and earthy. I added a few drops of pure sandalwood essential oil to it, which makes it more of how I want it to smell. Overall, I like it and will most likely continue to use it. I'll see how well it helps keep my face moisturized during the WI winter.

This AS balm is more like an unscented version of AS. Compared to Truefitt and Hill sandalwood this is CRAP. I would not recommend this product. Way over priced for what it is. (Glad I got it at 50% off, even at that it is still overpriced) It was my first and last Edwin Jagger purchase. Will stick to Taylor of old bond, Truefitt and Castle Forbes products from now on.

Love the smell of sandalwood, this is a good product. For the pice tag I consider it a special treat or maybe a good gift item.
