Great tape measure
I've now had this tape measure for 2 months and used it a lot. It's a great measure. Solidly made, metric and imperial markings and looks good! Would recommend.

Great tool
This tape measure works really well for building jobs. It’s easy to use and lasts a long time. A great tool for anyone doing construction or home projects

Good
This is over-engineered for my home/DIY use, but I knew that and I wanted a tape that did not collapse under its own weight when extending; making it more easy for one person to use without always needing someone or something to hold the other end. This does the job very well. At two metres straight out it is still virtually straight, begins to bend by three metres and at four metres is bowed quite a bit, but still hasn't collapsed.

“The one”
Very chunky. Probably bomb proof. I like that the start has an extra coating as high use there is bound to happen. Good they considered that. All numbers are clear to see and rewind mechanism is strong. Can’t fault it. Just bear in mind it is very chunky. Not really a pocket one.

Quality that will last
As an occasional diy'er this is probably the best tape measure I've ever had. I was getting sick of the one I have, which is thin and buckles constantly when trying to feed out the tape, even at short distances of 30-40 cm's. The fat max was rigid even at 1.5 metres when I was using it today and the markings are big and easy to read.The casing has an easy to grip rubber coating and an oversized clip to put on your belt (which I don't ). Apart from that, it just feels like a quality item that will last for a few years.Recommended.
