Great Feeder
The media could not be loaded. My cats love this. They get fed all their dry food in puzzle feeders, and this one is a favourite.Really nice quality and sturdy build. Bigger than I initially expected (in a good way).

Big boy approved and certified!
I recently adopted this wonderful large fellow and knew he'd benefit from a puzzle feeder and this is the one to have! Keeps him occupied and engaged in his meals for much longer than a bowl and has been a wonderful bonding opportunity teaching him how it works. It's sturdy enough to not topple over and simple to take apart for cleaning, an excellent purchase I would make again in a heartbeat!

Great for 3 weeks
Was really good for my greedy cats, but they quickly learned to tip it over and empty it all.I wedged half the base under a door to stop it tipping and this morning found they’d managed snap it off the base and bend the plastic it attaches to.Good product if you have good cats!

Good fun for cats
The media could not be loaded. I bought this on recommendation from the vet so that my cats were not just gulping down their biscuits when feeding. It is well made and was cheaper on Amazon than a well known pet store that also sells them. It makes the cats work for their treats allowing better digestion and is a bit of a game for them.

Like bees to a hive!
The media could not be loaded. Assembly was quick and easy and done in a matter of 6 simple, self explanatary steps. Will be nice and easy to dismantle too for washing which is great. The clan immediately came running when they heard dry food being dished out, however, what they weren't expecting was having to work for their dinner! My eldest was straight in but got frustrated very quickly as she likes to eat fast. This is exactly what I wanted for her though, both for speed of eating and weight management, so 👍🏻 already. My middle cat has definitely been the most engaged with it so far and loves to push food out just for fun.My kitten has so far only watched from a distance as he's still learning about the pecking order at meal times. He has had a little go though and in typical ginger cat style, can't quite work out what he needs to do to get his favourite kibble!

Great upgrade to a brilliant product
I had the old version for my cat, she would sometimes twang it and her meaty food pellets would go flying. This new version has a solid plastic base to replace the rubber mat, that cures the twanging problem. It is a brilliant feeder. It’s not perfect, I’d suggest putting a rubber ring in that came with the original version, they made great fuss about it’s sensory feel being important to cats. The new style lid has bars across the opening, that stops the more intelligent can from just eating the food out of the top section without bothering with the maze. But the downside is it makes putting in her meaty pellets a bit awkward. Perhaps the bars could be made as an optional insert, choice of a narrow ring or the bars.My cat’s main diet is meaty pellets, I use this instead of a bowl, this way she eats when hungry and only enough she’s prepared to get out. As a result her weight has been flat, healthy, and in range for years.I strongly recommend this products to cats and their staff.

Fun whilst it lasted
My kitten loved this and it helped slowed down his eating. It was fun watching him figure it out. However, he stood on top of it one day (only 3 months old and quite light still!) and it snapped at the base. The part where the two join together smashed into multiple pieces, making it completely irreparable.A little disappointing as it did work great before, it and it wasn’t cheap

It's hilarious to watch!
Initially I wasn't sure if my cats will even know how to use this and I was half right: my cat Pepper will knock the food down whilst my other cat, Toby, will wait for her to do so and then take the reward. At first neither knew how to use it with regular cat biscuits and my cats kept howling at me to give them food, despite standing next to the tree, so instead I added their favorite treats and that's when the fun began.Spillage: this isn't an issue, even on tiled floor. Both my overweight and above average cat haven't knocked over the tree once, despite my owning it for almost a week, nor has it slightly raised from the ground. If I'm correct this is the second version of the cat tree and it's definitely an improvement. Other than my cat occasionally flicking the biscuits out when she cheats, there's no mess! I'd also like to add that it's impossible for either of them to eat from the top, which is again another improvement.Summary:I feed them wet food in the morning and then measure biscuits at night, but my cats would eat each others so I wanted a way to encourage them to lose weight: this makes them eat slower and definitely not as much- I find within 5 minutes my cats will give up. I haven't had any issues with the product yet and I honestly can't fault it- it even came with an adorable box where it shows you how to turn it into a cat toy. My cats are indoor cats and they hardly touch their toys, so it's great to see them excited to use this.

Sef-pacing their meals
I have two big tuxedo cats who are brothers, almost 10 years old. I bought my first feeder about 9 years ago because one of them likes to eat more than the other and I'm not always around to monitor who gets what. This feeder helped them both pace their eating. My old one broke off at the point where the top attaches to the bottom - probably not because of cat usage but because of toddler grandchildren who liked to lean on it. For a few days, before this new replacement came, I put food out and it was all gone almost instantly. With the feeder back in place, they are back to self-pacing and the same amount of food can last almost the whole day before being replenished at their regular meal time. So worth the investment.

Good Product
Is this product a good, stable slow feeder that can make a cat eat more slowly? Yes. Did it work out for me? Not so much. My female cat did use it exactly as intended, but my male cat would come over and smack it with all the might he possess in his little body, making it rain kitty kibble all over the floor. He still ate slower than normal, admittedly, but I don't think that's quite how things should have gone.Ultimately, I am retiring this feeder. It is durable, easy to use, easy to clean, and aesthetically pleasing. However, my male cat has dominance issues (he eats past the point of being full to show that he's an alpha) and my poor female cat gets so scared that she gobbles down the food that falls out of it so quickly that it negates the point of a slow feeder (kinda like eating potato chips one chip at a time, but swallowing the chip whole). If Catit releases a product to help with these issues, I'll be more than happy to buy it, because I have overall been very pleased with their products.I used this feeder along with the race track, and I must admit the race track adds to the stability quite a bit. However, it also stands very well on its own and has never been knocked over by a cat (the dogs are a different story).Refilling it was also a breeze, and by the end I would just pour food directly onto the lid for it to fall through the top hole and into the upper level of the feeder. I did nudge some through this hole myself though since the cats quickly discovered that they can eat the food off the lid more easily than they can by knocking it through the two levels.I can't say the cat were pleased to be switched over to a slow feeder. When given the option to eat from the feeder or a normal bowl, they without a doubt preferred the bowl. However, it took no time at all for them to make the switch once we stopped refilling the bowls.Overall: great product but not right for my specific cats needs; might buy it again in the future for different cats

Empfehlenswert
The media could not be loaded.
