My dog loves VetIQ toothpaste and his teeth have always been perfect with it. I trust VetIQ as a brand. I always use dental sticks with him as an added extra to help get bits I can't reach and get off the excess before brushing which we usually do at night after he has ate for the day and settled down.Seen some more expensive brands start to advertise Dental powders on TV so thought I'd check if VetIQ did one and give it a try.You only need a small amount (If you have a small dog like me) and sprinkle it over their food. I was worried incase my dog refused to eat his food as I have the fussiest dog alive.However he ate his food as normal so he either must not notice the taste or it tastes good! I don't notice a smell off the powder, but I haven't stuck my nose in the tub!I would say great value for money as I've noticed it does reduce build up for me to brush away, I wouldn't abandon brushing all together but it is effective for keeping my dog's teeth and gums healthy for those days you forget to brush!The size of the container is small but has lasted me a good amount of time as I am only using half a teaspoon per day as guides for the size of my dog.I think the main active ingredient is seaweed which is also promoted by the more expensive brands!

Our puppy was chewing everything and nothing we gave her stopped her from chewing people and furniture. This reduced her need to chew and she was gentler when playing with people.As an added bonus she likes the tase so it is easy to apply.

Brilliant powder helped with dogs breath only thing I would say is doesn’t come with a scoop where others do

I purchased as I have a 11 year old pooch who is failing in the tooth department and unfortunately suffers gum pain and tooth erosion (rescue pup) I wanted to ease her gum bleeding and pain and saw this advertisement for teething puppies. (As bonjela is POISONOUS to dogs) I wanted an alternative option, I now use this teething gel for my dog approximately 5 mins before I need to clean her teeth. This way the gum is less irritated and slightly numb and less painful. She has had many teeth removed due to her age and previous life as a street dog. Although that lifestyle is far behind her as she now spends her days as a pampered fur baby, previous bad habits have caught up. I would definitely recommend this gel as an alternative choice as it works for my elderly pooch and is less invasive to squirting syringe painkillers in her mouth. (Although at times we need to do this) All I do is, wash my hand thoroughly, pop a pea sized amount of gel on my finger and gently rub on her upper gums I then swap hands to repeat for lower gums. I honestly have seen her much less aggressive to chewing her toys since starting this routine.

I can't say if this helps numb the pain or not but my 17 wk old malamute pup goes crazy after I put this on her gums and starts biting me worse and much harder 🤷 it could be that her gums are numbed so she can't feel how hard she's biting anymore or is able to bite harder due to pain being less but my god she goes crazy IV had to stop using it I'm covered in cuts and bruises she's not as bad without it so I can't really say it works or not

Wouldn't go past this with a puppy teething. All my dogs have been on this to help them and it really does sooth them. Must also taste great as when theyre grown they only need to see this coming out for the puppy and theyre sat patiently waiting on a bit as well haha

Love this product,it does help with the biting when pups are teething ,it doesn't stop it but greatly reduces it would definitely recommend
