It cuts ceramic tiles really well. This larger diameter wheel means the handle of the Dremel is well clear of the object being cut.

So yes it works, but it's pricey. I suppose if it is diamond then hence the cost. Cuts through most materials like butter.

I used this to cut ceramic tile for a small sink. It was especially useful for the formed trim tiles, which had a large bulge on one side. It cut through them very easily, but I would opt for something beefier if you had a lot to do. I used a spray bottle to keep the cut wet and there doesn't appear to be any wear on the disk so it appears to have life left. Lastly, the disk is relatively small, and due to the diameter of the dremel tool, I needed to use it on the flex extention for the disc to make vertical cuts.

Dremel spares are good so replacement of originals is easy
