Pros: decent heat (3 settings), two speed fan, long 3m+ cord, lasted 8 years before it died!Cons: a little heavyThis has been a reliable, decent hairdryer used daily for 15-20 mins for about 8 years. Not many products seem to last these days, but this one did, and at £20 for 8 years = £2.50. year thats a bargain.Some reviews state it can get hot - well yes, its a heater rated at 2200 watts in a small plastic appliance! Back the heat down a setting if used for extended periods and its fine. And make sure the dust filter at the back is kept clean otherwise if it clogs then there is less air for the same amount of heat input which means it may get too hot and cut out. Simple maintenance job that takes 5 seconds, and will help your hairdryer last longer too...Bought the same one again after the old one broke. It may be heavy, but we don't use it for hours in one go and I'd rather have something decent that will last vs. light & breakable plastic.

I am a hairdresser and this is a great professional dryer at a fantastic price. This is my second one in about 15 years, I only bought a new one because the vent broke on the back of my old one, and that was my fault, the dryer still worked but I couldn't use it without the safety guard. I use it daily, all day on my clients and have never had any issues. It's a good length cord for professional use and has a cold shot button with great placement of control buttons. Don't hesitate to buy this dryer 👍

I absolutely love this hairdryer and when friends have used it when at my house they have agreed that it is brilliant. It makes my hair look so shiny, too.

I've owned this for over 4 years and it's still going strong. I have mostly straight long thick hair halfway down my back. I was previously using a smaller travel-sized Babyliss hairdryer without the ionic stuff but had to leave it behind on holiday and bought this as a replacement when I got back. My needs for a hairdryer aren't much, I don't use it for styling, just drying, don't use any attachments so I can't attest to that aspect but it works great for me. My hair's mostly dry in 5 minutes, completely dry in under 10 minutes. I'm sure I could get the time down if I sectioned it properly but I'm too lazy for that.I remember the first time I used it vividly. It was such a surprise to not have my hair feeling straw-like and smelling burnt, it was soft and sleek and dry so quickly. I'd been straightening my hair to tame the frizz after washing for so long and now I don't need to. I thought the ionic thing was a bit of a con as to whether it would really make a viable difference and it did for me. The switches are easy to use to change settings, takes a few seconds to get the cold blast if you're going from hot and vice-versa.Downsides are that the unit itself is quite heavy to use, my arm feels like it's gotten a workout sometimes by the time I'm done, and the cable is quite long for home use but I imagine it's great in a salon.Update 10/07/2023: Still working great, nearing over 10 years of use now. I’ve lost the little sponge filter bit so it does get a bit dusty but it’s easy enough to clean with a bit of water and a scrub.

I bought this dryer nearly a year ago and decided it was time to write a review, based on actual experience and satisfaction. I recommend it. I had a hairdryer bought in my student days which I loved. Finally, after almost 30 years, it gave up the ghost, almost burning my daughter's hair in the process. She also loved the old hairdryer and insisted I buy a replacement that was similar. After much searching and researching I found this one and bought it. It didn't come with a diffuser, which my old one had had, so I bought that as well as a separate item (NB - don't get the diffuser that looks quite neat and small which comes up in searches, because it won't fit on). But the diffuser that does fit is mega and it's like fitting a telephoto lens onto your hairdryer, so I sent it back. Apart from that, the hairdryer is perfect and does a great job. I love the fact that there are 3 heat settings as well as a cool button, and the power for drying is amazing, though incredibly noisy.

I have owned this hair dryer for over 2 years now and it is absolutely brilliant.Pros1. The primary reason I love this hair dryer is because of the power of the air that comes out of it. It is as powerful as any professional dryer I have seen at salons. I have very thick hair that runs till my waist and I save so much time everyday using this dryer.2. The heat setings are just right: the medium is warm and the hot is great for styling.3. I usually use the dryer for rough drying but on the few occassions I have used it for styling, it has been great too. The cold air button is a nice feature though I have only used it a few times.4. Buttons in the right places, easy to switch settings while blow drying.Cons1. After 2+ years, the lower setting has stopped working. The dryer only works on the higest setting, so am going to order a new one (same one again).2. It is big and slightly heavy as most professional stylers tend to be.All in all, VERY pleased with the product, especially with how powerful it is.

Absolutely love this dryer and it has exceeded all expectations. I have had trouble with finding one that will suit my thick frizzy hair without cutting out, overheating or simply taking forever and this dryer has been perfect. i was a little worried as it is bigger and heavier than any others i've tried and has different heat settings but it was well worth it. The heat settings are plenty for any style and I find the middle heat is hot enough to dry my hair quickly and the refreshing cooler setting sets my style perfectly. And no frizz! It's like this dryer has magical powers that tame my flyaway hair without the help of any serums or sprays, saving me time and money. It is easy to use and not as heavy as i expected and certainly comfortable enough to use. A fab buy and saves me so much time and effort it makes getting ready in the morning a breeze rather than a chore, would definately recommend, especially for anyone with frizzy hair or who finds their dryers cutting out and over heating on them.
