yes they are flat on both sides, they are made of a strip of metal bent in the middle at 90 degrees

Would you be able to bend these at all? need 135 degree angle. doesn't matter if need some force to bend as want them to stay there once done!

If you have a substantial vice and reasonably heavy hammer, with care you can bend these quite easily but do not over end.A Tinsmith's Bender is best but not every DIYer has one.Best of luck.

if i remember right.they were 5.2 cm long (both leanths) and 1.5cm wide hope this helps
