L'Oréal Paris Foundation for Face, Skincare Infused with Hyaluronic Acid, True Match Hydrating Liquid Foundation for All Skin Tones, SPF 16, 1N Ivory, 30 ml

Bought this at a reduced price on Amazon to try, as I continue my quest to find decent foundations that don't cost the earth. Considering I recently purchased a much more expensive foundation, the coverage is extremely similar (and certainly making me wish I hadn't splashed out on the more expensive one!) The shade of this is perfect for me, and the foundation provides a nice finish. It isn't as longwearing as I'd like - paticularly around my oily t-zone - but I can forgive this as it is otherwise a really nice formula.

I would say this is a light to medium coverage, lovely for the summer, looks like your skin but better. Only reason I gave 4 star is because it's difficult to find the right shade. Was a little runny when I first received it but I shook it well and it was fine.

Colour is perfect for my skintone. Very light on skin.

This applies beautifully in the morning but by 2pm it's patchy and looks awful even with a good moisturiser and primer! Mainly its the T-zone that looks the worst as it stays in the pores of the skin but becomes "slidy" on the surface. Big dissapointment for the price paid and is now useless to me! I've tried to include a picture taken before I wrote this review but not sure if it can be seen as bad as it looks in person but I won't be buying this product again. I also purchased the matching compact powder but sadly that came lighter than the foundation even though I selected ivory the same shade so that's also no use to me now so I feel let down by the manufacturer with their incorrect shading and misleading description here for the foundation. **update** A lovely lady at Boots advised I use a good primer and since then my foundation stays put for much longer. So pleased now that I amended my star rating as it seems my skin type didn't suit this very much but with primer I can now use it again and have ordered more in the Amazon sale :)

i took the 1n shade and it’s actually really pale, i love it, and in general it a good product i’ll buy it one more time when i finish this one
