Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix Essentials (PS3)

If you're buying this for the remastered Kingdom Hearts 1, then go right ahead, as this does the job excellently. If, on the other hand, you also want a game that explains what happened in 358/2 Days, this is not the game for you. The movie certainly isn't the worst thing (Coded bears that mantle), but it misses out a lot of key details that give context to the events of the game. If you /really/ want to know what happens in Days, either buy the game itself or watch a playthrough on Youtube.Oh, and Chain of Memories is a very different beast to the regular games in the series, so just keep that in mind if you want to give it a go.

Best game ever! (Final Fantasy X comes close but...) If you want a game with the depth of story, suitable for all ages, hours and hours of game play (without it dragging on) then I definitely suggest you buy this, the collection including Kingdom Hearts 1, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories and a bonus 3 hour movie (that in my opinion could stand alone, and definitely doesn't feel 3 hours) 358/2 Days. As a long time player of Final Fantasy I was looking for something in my comfort zone but different. Kingdom Hearts ticks all the boxes, simple as that.

KH1 was insanely good, so really I just bought it for that. The other two parts were lacking and really you should just watch the Re; Chain of Memories 'movie' on youtube or something. But overall, defo buy it in anticipation for KH3 next year

Fantastic value, good quality and great delivery, arrived earlier than expected.

Well it's new, it works, but the game itself isn't up to par, maybe coz am 30 years old, even though its Final Fantasy related which is why I wanted to play it. :(

A brilliant trio of 3 of the games with a great new setup from the old PS2 version. Loved Kingdom Hearts for a while and so glad they made these remixes. Though buying the 1.5 and 2.5 remixes leaves you with all but Dream Drop Distance, and the soon arriving Kingdom Hearts 3, this was well worth buying.

As a newcomer to the franchise I don't regret this purchase at all. Chain of Memories is admittedly a little clunkier as an overall game to play which detracts from its enjoyment a little but as an overall set this was a welcome purchase and I've already ordered in Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX to continue playing through this awesome saga! Would highly recommend to anyone who's curious and loves his/her Disney movies!
