Beautifully made keyboard
I got this one for my daughter for xmas, and it's an excellent keyboard for the price. The many voices it has sound perfect and have a really professional quality to them (rather than those tinny sounding cheap ones I've had before). -This one sounds as good as even the more expensive ones! The keys on this are full size, and has a good range of octaves. (Plus each key can be heard simultaneously rather than just being able to hear only one key at a time when pressing multiple keys like many of the cheaper ones do). It plays and feels just like a professional keyboard, even though I paid nowhere near what I could have paid for a much more expensive higher end model. It honestly plays just as good! The only real negative is that the voices require a two button operation to change each keyboard voice (so not ideal if you intend to change voice quickly whilst playing), but it is still fairly quick to do, and it doesn't bother me enough to knock any stars off. Overalll, I really love what they have done with this keyboard, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants a really good sounding machine without paying too much for it. My daughter absolutely loves it, and she's getting alot out of it! (and I often find myself borrowing it alot too!)

Great keyboard for learners and over
I was issued a challenge by my Brother to learn piano. He gave me a similar challenge what I was 18 to learn the guitar and I did very well at that's. However at 42 I did worry if I'd be any good at this. I've always lo Ed piano music, but it seemed so difficult I only ever had one lesson. So the piano arrived and so did some stickers that you put on the keys to tell you what they are. I was all setup in about 10 minutes. Then I was stuck. So I played with all the piano settings, which are really cool and varied instruments. Then I played with all the tempos and demos, which again are really fun. Then I was stuck again. So I found a teaching app (I'm not sure I can name it here), I'm about an hour I'd learnt three chords and played along to some real crowd pleases like "Mary had a little lamb" and "Twinkle, twinkle" 🤘I've now had this for about a month and I have to say it's a great keyboard to learn on, and play as an adult. It's very well made and sounds really good. The keys give a good return when you press them down and the setup layout is easy to navigate. At the minute I only use the piano sound, but other sounds I've not tested. This is probably the maximum price I'd pay if you were starting out. It's a great keyboard.

Awesome value for money
This keyboard has the perfect value for the priceAfter trying with some cheap rollup keyboards and having to return them wasting my time, I decided to carry on learning to play the piano with a decent keyboard. I didn't want to go over the top as I'm no pro and not sure if I will carry on playing yet, but I also didn't want to buy anymore substandard stuff. So, this keyboard is just a bit more than I initially planned to spend, but it's well worth itThe piano voices sound like a piano, you can also transpose it and add/remove sustain. You have a never ending set of voices to play about when you get bored of practicing the same piece over and again and you have several rythms you can play over.It has headphone jack, very useful to avoid being murdered by roommates after playing for 1 hour the same 4 bars of a classical pieceOnly thing I'd put a but on is that you can't add a pedal to it, so sustain is either on all the time or off all the time, that combined with the keys not having sensitivity to pressure makes it very difficult to add interpretation to your performance, but hey, it's no professional keyboard and it's under 100 quid so if, like me, you're willing to learn piano, go for it without second thoughts.

It is a great keyboard if you dont wanna spend so much money ...
It is a great keyboard if you dont wanna spend so much money on it. It is very lightweight that I can lift it up with only one hand (maybe its because im strong idk) but it makes it easier for you to move it around. Mine is AC adapted so I just need to power it on and it works. There are different sounds that you can make and from the guide and the numbers on it it is very easy to change all the settings on the keyboard. Now for the keyboard itself compared to others, it sounds great with speakers and headphones. The key are light but the only thing that would make it better if different pressure on the keys will make the sound louder/lower, but now it just sounds the same with any amount of force you use (just like any other similar prices keyboard I guess). It could have gotten my 5 stars if that changes. Overall it is very great and all keys work perfectly. The book stand also works perfectly and they also give guides to register online to get the free yamaha songs tutorial.

Makes a beginner feel like a pro!
Between lockdown and retirement I decided to teach myself a new skill, and the piano is something I've wanted to play all my life. With 61 keys it is just the right size to fit in my small studio comfortably and allows me to try out simpler songs - I have no illusions I'll be playing Carnegie Hall anytime soon! The sound quality is excellent. I signed up for the Flowkey membership that comes with the keyboard, but as I don't use midi I was concerned. No problem! I just activated the mic on my laptop, and Flowkey recognises the notes I'm playing. Fantastic value for money.

Ideal buy
After shopping round for keyboards, I settled on this purchase. It has a great feel and sound, after I previously had bought a lesser quality keyboard, Yamaha did not let me down. I also like the retro-esque style of the look. It's an ideal size for someone playing the keyboard casually like myself. Reasonable price compared to some out there for a good quality keyboard. Only downside is the stand feels a bit flimsy but that's my only issue with it.Delivery was swift and came earlier than expected.
