Most stable power source - fixes random crashes - not crashed since!
Get one for any device that is constantly powered - rather than charging. Was using phone/tablet CHARGERS - most of these do not work well as a straight POWER SOURCE.I currently have 4 x Raspberry Pi and several ESP8266 and ESP32 projects. One of the Raspberry Pi runs OpenHABian (a Home Automation system) and a lot of my own software. This would constantly randomly crash with no detecable hardware or software problem. I eventually found information in the logs to indicate problems with power. Since replacing the 2.4/1.0A Duracell charger with the 3A Raspberry Pi Power Supply I have not had these random crashes.I have also had problems using phone/tablet chargers with the ESP modules. If they are really 'dumb' they may work but usually they don't.My understanding is this. CHARGERS have additional circuitry which increase/decrease the CURRENT (amps) depending on what conditions they are designed to detect (e.g. more current for an empty battery and less for when it is almost full, as well as initial low current mode when they are first connected/switched on as they try to detect what is going on before applying full power, or to put it another way - the CHARGER is in charge of PUSHING power). All of this generally screws with a device that just needs to be able to pull whatever power it needs whenever it needs it (i.e. the current is effectively always fully available immediately, or to put it another way - the DEVICE is in charge of pulling power).

Thought I'd play safe and go with the 'official' power ...
Thought I'd play safe and go with the 'official' power supply. You can get cheaper ones but I wasn't prepared to trust them. So far it's powered me through an Alexa clone, a Google Voice setup and a PiHole. The Pi hasn't complained and it's still working.

Nice long lead
Does the job. Has a bunch of adapters for different continents, but will only use the UK adapter. No problems so far.

Did the jobRecommended

Worked great for my PI
Worth buying after trying to use phone chargers, I think because my chargers are smart "quick chargers" then power kept dropping out. This is worth the money, for a stable power supply.

Good
Finally got rid of that low voltage warning

Worked perfectly
My raspberry pi was really having power issues, noatter what I tried. This is the 3rd one I bought and the only one that worked perfectly.
