GODOX 80x80cm Foldable Flash Softbox kit with S-Type Bracket Bowens Mount Holder for Camera Flash Speedlight Studio Photography

The quality of this softbox is a lot better than I expected for the price. The bracket itself is really sturdy and quite universal as it looks like it would hold all flash units that I have come across. The pop up box is really easy to set up and feels sturdy. It was a bit deformed once erected for the first time but was easily corrected with a bit of manipulation.Once mounted on a light stand, it can be easily adjusted in the vertical plane but remains secure when fixed.For those unsure, as was I, the softbox comes complete with both an inner and outer diffuser.The delivery was a lot longer than I expected however it was within the stated delivery timescales.I am I no way experience with these diffusers however I am more than happy with my purchase and would definitely consider purchasing a second.

Works well. Not hard to figure out how to use which is good because instructions are somewhat sparse. Am using with a light weight stand and so far no trouble, as long as you position the legs correctly. Took a bit of thought to work out how to fold but got it back in its bag quite quickly, any problems look on youtube. Angle bracket very stiff initially, took it apart and put back together and works fine. excellent value.

First off, the speedlight bracket is FANTASTIC and has really sped up my location work. I use it with a beauty dish most of all. Even if you're just using umbrellas and a speedlight, it's far more secure than the coldshoe-type holders, and the built in hole grips your umbrellas firmly by the shaft, ooh err missus etc. Would honestly never ever buy a fiddly traditional speedlight bracket again.The softbox is decent quality, feels fairly durable (with the exception of the internal diffusion panel, which feels so fragile that carefully attaching it to the stretchy cords feels like docking a space shuttle full of nukes). It's a great size for portraits and fine for full-body shots, though the slightly increased difference will reduce the softness a little. The little carrying case is nice, and it packs away very small. Personally I just leave the bracket attached to a flash stand and I leave the diffusers flat inside the box when i fold it into its little pouch (yes that works fine), but the little bag is quite handy for other bits.To clear things up that I wasn't sure about when I was buying it:- The softbox is NOT Bowens mount. It simply bends around the circular speedlight holder thingy. So if you're looking at this as a cheap option to use with a studio strobe, it's probably not ideal.- Yes, this DOES have a second diffusion panel inside, which I wasn't sure about. it's attached with some tiny metal clips and some thin stretchy fabric which feels like it's on the verge of snapping. Works fine though.Ok, confession time. I consider myself a reasonably intelligent person, I do ok in IQ tests and got A grades in my GCSES. I can even get my pop-up tent back into the bag without resorting to youtube guides.Yet I'm ashamed to admit it took me nearly an HOUR to fold this thing back up into its little pouch. All the guides and videos online just confused me more, since I'd be following them exactly and then they'd say 'and now simply twist' and suddenly I'd be lost again. In the end it turned out to be quite simple, once folded you get a nice little triangle. Just grab the top of the triangle with your hand (palm up), and the other hand grabs the bottom of the triangle in the middle (palm down). Then just twist both hands hard away from each other and BAM, it magically springs into a nice little circle. You'll kick yourself when you get it.

I really recommend these, I have two now. I've recently run some test shots and they are great. They pack down small, take little time to put them up and do a great job. The S-type mount is a bonus and adds value to the product

Amazing product....good for professionals....can bear good amount of weight....a great purchase.

Travelling light and compact it is always great to add softness to any flashgun, using this means I can quickly change the whole feel of the lighting and the universal bracket will take any flashgun with ease. The fact that the bracket can also take any other bowens mount lighting adapter opens up a whole world of flash modification

Good value, works well, very good soft light quality with one speedlight. Folding can be tricky but there are video's on YouTube if you get stuck. I'm only marking it 4 stars because one of the edges is not very ridged, I guess the one that makes it fold so small, and if this is put at the top it collapses slightly on mine. Not a problem if it is put on the bottom edge though as gravity keeps it down.

Very sturdy.... So sturdy that I really really struggled to fit the holder into the hole at the back. Also too heavy for my lightweight stands. I'll keep it tho, and buy a different fitting for the speed light and a heavier stand. Until then, I don't think it will get used which is a shame. Wish I'd bought something more lightweight.

Primo prodotto che acquisto della Godox. Mi sembra un ottimo softbox che rispetta le dimensioni dichiarate di 80x80. Arriva completo della staffa di fissaggio tra flash e diffusore stesso, di schermo diffusore grande frontale che si attacca col velcro, e un secondo schermo diffusore in tessuto bianco traslucido da montare all'interno , per diffondere meglio la luce. Arriva ripiegato in una borsetta, e una volata li dentro è davvero poco ingombrante. Lo ritengo un buon prodotto per uso dilettantistico; per uso professionale non saprei dire se indicato o meno. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Habe 2 Stück bestellt, Versand aus China über Landweg dauerte relativ lange. Verarbeitung ist bei beiden einwandfrei, keine nennenswerte Fertigungsfehler. Sind außerdem recht solide, von wabbelig kann keine Rede sein (natürlich in Maßen, aber es geht hier ja um eine Softbox und nicht um ein Stativ). Insbesondere der Blitzhalter wirkt sehr gut verarbeitet. Verpackt ziemlich kompakt, gute Lichtverteilung. Auf- und Abbau ist ein bisschen speziell, aber gewusst wie schnell machbar. Auch das Aufstülpen auf den Blitzhalter, was einige Leute als problematisch angemerkt haben, geht sehr schnell, wenn man richtig ansetzt und von der Seite her aufbahnt (ist textuell schwierig zu beschreiben). Gewissenhaft montiert ist auch kein Lecklicht festzustellen, aber die Klettverschlüsse brauchen natürlich ein bisschen mehr Aufmerksamkeit beim Aufbau als z. B. Reißverschlüsse.Negativpunkte sind nur Kleinigkeiten. Eine quadratische Softbox macht frontal nicht die schönsten Reflexionen in den Augen, im Unterschied zu einem Achteck lässt sich ein Quadrat deutlich als solches erkennen. Von der Seite oder auf Distanz aber kein Problem.Weiterhin, zur Neigungsverstellung des Blitzhalters muss man die Softbox um 45° drehen, da der Hebel ansonsten in den Weg kommt. Ist aber ein kurzer Handgriff, daher kein Drama.Und für mein Verständnis wäre es sinnvoller, wenn die Auswölbung bei den Platten in der Blitzhalterung nach unten statt nach oben gerichtet wäre. Aber der Blitz wird trotzdem stabil gehalten, daher keine relevante Einschränkung.Insgesamt für den Preis uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen, so lange man mit den quadratischen Reflektionen zurecht kommt.

Tras un uso intenso en distintas sesiones en exterior, mi conclusión es de 9,5/10El producto tiene un precio excelente basándonos en lo que nos ofrece.- Se guarda de forma muy compacta y ocupa una miseria, además, donde se guarda es una bolsa de transporte con un asa que facilita el traslado.- Cada uno de los 2 difusores que incorpora, viene en una bolsa de plástico para mantenerlo guardado por separado y que no se pierda u arrugue.- El soporte, tiene una calidad excelente, además de que transmite la sensación al tener un mínimo peso y robustez, transmite sin duda años de uso- El Softbox en sí, es lo que me hace dudar mas, ya que se dobla tipo reflector con unas varillas de una forma específica (no explicada en ningún lado) Tras el primer uso, tuve que buscar la forma de doblarlo por el miedo a partir alguna varilla o similar, por lo demás, una vez aprendido, no hay problema alguno, eso sí, no se que tal tras el uso elevado y los años.Conclusión general, es un producto de muy buena calidad por el precio que tiene, sin duda lo volvería a comprar. Al principio, da miedo doblarlo y guardarlo, pero una vez aprendes, no hay problema alguno! Es muy compacto y versátil, al traer 2 difusores la luz es muy difusa y elimina las sombras, ideal para hacer " Strobist " y fotografía de retrato

Une fois qu'on a compris comment replier la soft-box pour la ranger dans le sac, on trouve ce produit génial.En fait, il suffit de placer ses mains ; l'une dans une angle et l'autre sur le côté opposé, les rapprocher pour enlever la rigidité du système tendu, et faire le mouvement de rotation avec les poignets pour ramener une soft-box de 80cm à un cylindre de 20cm de diamètre.Vraiment pratique pour le rangement.J'en ai acheté deux, pour pouvoir faire un éclairage composé, mais souvent je n'en utilise qu'une avec un réflecteur.La partie qui tient le flash est bien pratique car elle évite de tenir le flash par la broche et le risque de casse.Pour le photographe amateur que je suis, et qui n'utilise les flashs que ponctuellement, c'est parfait.Le résultat est bon, le rangement et la dépense sont réduits au minimum. Que demander de plus ?
