They are coated in hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) which is made from pine trees.

Q: is this product chewable?

I guess you would have to own a mouthfull of strong teeth

Q: Does this multivitamin contain Calcium or Iron? If not then why not?

It has the 100% daily recommended amount of iron but no calcium. This would be because calcium blocks the absorbtion of several vitamins including iron and magnesium. This product, although I have not tried it, has a very good ratio of vitamins and minerals. However, the price is ridiculous which is why i wouldn't purchase myself as you can get the same ratio elsewhere at a fraction of the price. Had this product been reasonably priced then I would have invested for the year on a yearly basis. But, it works out to be near £56 for a years supply when for a decent multivitamin, it usually costs around £15-25 for a years supply (360 tablets). You just have to look around

Q: Do these tablets contain any vitamin k ?

I've just checked my bottle and very surprised to find there is no Vitamin K listed! They do have Vitamin D3. Because there is so little sun in England I use both the A-Z Multivitamins and Minerals plus NOW Vitamin D3 & K2 Liposomal Spray too. I just spray it under my tongue once a day. It can be used twice a day. I like the taste of this one and buy it from Amazon too. As you may know, you should always take Vitamin D3 with Vitamin K2. Hope you find what you're looking for :)
