Love these!
When my son was newborn he really liked to suck. However, he refused to suck a dummy. I tried every single kind available in shops in the UK - Mam, Nuk, Mothercare, Boots, Tesco, you name it. He went crazy every time I tried. A friend of mine was given some of these by an American friend and her baby was loving it. As I hadn't tried this type I thought I'd give them a go and bought these. They have been a huge success from day one. I think the teat is smaller and softer so it doesn't feel like a lump of plastic in their little mouths. It is also so sweet to see their little mouth working.I don't know if this is my baby or the dummies but he is not as obsessed with his dummy as some babies are. I can take it off him and he doesn't mind at all, no screaming fits. It could be something to do with how soft these are. Or it might be nothing to do with it at all!The postage was a bit high - it was more than the cost of the dummies and they are hardly heavy, nor did they come quickly! - however I no longer care as I have a quiet, calm baby.

Good for fussy weenie
My baby 3 months old now and still doesn't like the dummies. He like to soothe himself on the breast and only sleeps while breastfeeding. But somehow when we are outside or traveling, when breastfeeding is not an option, he accepts dummy but only this one. I've purchased multiple brands, different shapes and textures yet he only likes this one. And he only accepts it if you put your finger in the gap. After a while you can take your finger away. My sister advised me this avent as she experienced no fuss both accepting and leaving the dummy with this one.

Not one suits all
Sadly did not suit my son but that's not to say it won't suit any baby. To be honest my son has struggled with all types of different dummies since birth as he struggled 1 to keep them in his mouth. My 18 month old seemed to like this dummy more but then again he like any type of pacifier. He kept stealing them of his little brother. I don't put this down to a product fault but more a "not one suits all" type of problem. The product itself seems good and there are no faults with this as I can see. It looks good quality and seems safe to use. Its a shame it did not suit my youngest so I could provide you with more information on this product.

Worth every penny
I have been through so many different dummies to finally find these that really do smooth my baby. I also like the fact it is all in one so there is no risk of the test falling off plus these is no risk of bacteria growing from water entering the soothie.Only down fall for me is that I haven’t found any dummy clips that fit this product meaning it ends up on the floor a lot and needing disinfecting.

5* Fantastic dummies (not only for breastfeeding babies
Excellent dummies. Bought them after reading reviews for the best dummy for breastfeeding mum's. Only make we have tried, our baby took to it straight away and it was funny to see the baby's mouth through the centrepiece.I think they are an American design and after buying from USA I was very pleased to see I could then source them in the UK.A family member who is a children's nurse commented when she saw it that the design is widely used in hospitals for ill and premature babies.Highly recommend the Soothie dummies - our son has never been addicted to the dummies and we found they were also very helpful when he is teething. He stopped using them around 14 months old.

Don’t buy it!
0-3 months?! Are you kidding me? It’s huge round silicone which is covering lips and nose as well so baby doesn’t like it. Maybe for 3 months Gorilla but sure not for baby…

Ugly but effective!
I bought this as I read the reviews that babies who took no other dummy would take it. On the positive side my baby did take it when he would take no other (although he eventually took a cherry dummy too as was bigger and more to suck on!). I have only given 3 stars however as when the baby is sucking you can see their lips and gums all pressed against the teat (as the dummy is completely clear with a blue tinge and it looks gross! The dummies look very medical and are great for in the home to comfort baby but not very cosmetic (if that bothers you!) Basically nobody will coo over your baby with this in its mouth! My lovely little boy looked like an alien with his lips and gums all pressed white against the teat!!!!!

Finally I found a dummy that works
I never normally write reviews on Amazon, but I had to share that this is the only dummy I found for my super fussy baby. I tried Mam Dummies and I tried a variety of different bib Dummies, But she constantly gagged on them and spat them straight out. I put this dummy in and she’s taken it straight away! What a relief!
