Definitely worth it for the money.
Having filled our small garden shed to the brim, we needed to consider taking our two mountain bikes out and finding an alternative, purpose built shed to keep them both in. I read a lot of Amazon reviews giving this particular little wooden bike shed a bad review, but let's be honest - the reason you're considering this little bike shed and the fact that you're even reading this review is the cheap price, right? I mean it costs £200. There are alternatives out there for £500 upwards, sure. But for a mere £200, surely that's peaked your interest? Well it did mine. So I bought it and it arrived in four sections. The first two appeared via a courier on the Thursday and the remaining two sections the following morning via a completely different courier. Bizzare. I built the bike shed within 6 hours myself. It would have taken me less than 2 hours, but some of the wooden pannels were cracked, damaged, split and didn't line up properly. But for £200, all the wood is supplied and someone has pre-cut to size, nailed all the pannels into flat pack formation, pre-treated the wood and then delivered it to your door. So I see this shed as more of a skeleton or a base model to get you started rather than a complete all singing, all dancing full package. Overall, very simple to build. Now, I was lucky enough to already have the tools to repair the damage and modify and improve on the design to make the doors more secure as they are incredibly flimsy as well as strengthen and upgrade the floor base, walls and roof as I was putting it all together. As mentioned in other reviews, all of the different screws and nails are thrown into one single plastic bag. I'd recommend binning the lot as they're exceedingly cheap and aren't capable of securing very much at all. So after about 6 hours, I'd built the bike shed fitted an anti-door removal system, double steel security bars, high security padlock, theft proof coach bolts, raised the base off the ground, fitted a small roof extension to cover more of the doors and fitted a high quality roof felt. Just need to apply some external paint now. So, to sum up, if your budget is £200, this is a great wee base shed to keep your bike in, but you will have to chop and change a few bits of it to make it completely water proof and more secure. Oh, and just for the record, my bike and my wife's both fitted with child seats on the rear fit comfortably in this little bike shed. Photos attached of our new, heavily modified bike shed. I'd definitely recommend if you're handy with tools and DIY as it's an honest wee bike shed for the price.

Missing Panels/Damaged
Don't buy. bought this as it had good reviews but its flimsy not well made, Left door has a 14in crack down it and only had two out of the three panels for the roof. only noticed damaged door and 1 roof panel missing when all sides and floor was in. when amazon was contacted they wasn't Interested in replacing only returning after it was partly built. Now I've got to replace the wood on the door and replace roof would have given 0 stars if it had been an option

Good shed
As such, this is a very good shed. It's well made in 'shiplap style' and it's certainly better than many of the other cheaper sheds on the market. However, it is not 3ft deep as advertised, the inside only measures 2'5" and on the outside including the roof its only 2'9". As other reviewers mentioned the catches / locks are not great, I didn't mind this, as I always intended to fit my own, but it is worth mentioning. Otherwise, the shed is easy to put together, it did it on my own in about 2 & half hours. We are tending to use this as extra storage space rather than as a main bike shed. However, it is a good product, if narrower than advertised.

Great quality, nicely finished
I'm very happy with the quality of this product, the prebuilt panels are built well and the entire structure is good and sturdy once built, another plus is easy to follow instructions. The metal hinges and latch are made from slightly better metal than used by other companies, it also comes with very sturdy doors with the mounts for interior bolts already fitted. Interior bolts are nice quality. I particularly like the gold plaque on the front fascia which adds a level of class. This garden storage replaced a similar product bought from a company that rhymes with Boltons which was sooooo poor quality it went straight back and we will never use them again. If you are looking for a good quality and sturdy garden storage solution that isn't too big then this shed is perfect. Only one thing, perhaps the roof felt could be rolled instead of folded... However, the shed came in a neat package on a palette sealed in plastic... Hat off to the management there, this meant the wood wasn't soaked in these rainy days.

Watch out for Damage.
Not a bad shed at all. However check for damage as the door edges are subject to damage at the ends by poor carriers. I got money back as I complained and carried out my own repairs to the door. Apart from that nit a bad shed. Managed to fit a huge ladies pendleton with 28 inch wheels and my smaller mountain bike with no bother. Going to modify by adding a cross shelf along the top part so I can store other stuff in the wasted space. It does have to be coated with Ronseal or cuprinol otherwise it will rot so be prepared for a few hours work in addition to the 3 building it.

Disappointed even though I had read the reviews.
Delivery was good as I contacted the seller to confirm a day so that someone could be home to take the delivery in. Delivery came on the day I was told so there were no problems there. The Shed pieces came pre-wrapped so it was signed for before proper inspection. Once the shed pieces were unwrapped, two of the corners of the back panel were damaged. Screws that came with the pack were not enough to put the shed together and we had to buy more. We also bought brackets to secure the side panels to stop the shed from tilting side ways. I read all the reviews before ordering the shed, so I was aware of the possible faults and unfortunately my shed pack had the same faults!

Ideal cycle/tool store
The shed arrived early which was great for me as i was not at work. It was easy enough to assemble and went up in about an hour. I did put an extra membrane under the roof felt for added protection (I live in Manchester therefore am no stranger to rain!) I secured in to my existing shed for extra stability. I keep my cycle and a few more bits in it and it has stood up to all the winter has thrown at it up to now. Overall i am very pleased with it, good value for money and does what it says on the tin.

We purchased 4 different brands of sheds, purchased for their dimensions because of where we needed to put them, and this is by far the worst of them. It will do it's job, but the wood is flimsy and some pieces are so warped they were unusable. The wood is rough and did I already say warped? We also purchased a Leisure Season, a Merax, and a Goplus and they were all such better materials. The roof material of this Bosmere ripped when I merely picked it up to install it. Horrible. I will have to put on something else for the roof (probably corrugated metal). I'm actually getting more and more angry when I see how much I paid for this and the incredible lack of quality for the price. Emblematic of the quality, all the screws were jumbled together in one bag (the other brands nicely put each type of screw in it's own bag, labeled). I already spent so much time putting it together, not sure I can do anything at this point. Don't buy this. Just don't.

Looks great, reasonably straightforward to assemble (1 person). One or two minor issues of wood splitting/splintering

This is all in all a good product. The delivery was timely and the shed is the shape and size it said. However there are a few things one must know before purchasing this product. 1. You build it yourself If you were hoping for a quick connect shed that takes 20 minutes to set up then this is not the product for you. The walls floor and roof come pre built. But the rest you will need to screw and nail in yourself. I do not consider myself a handy man, But I was able to build it in a afternoon. Not too difficult if you take your time 2. You will need a power drill, drill bits, and a hammer The package comes with all the screws and nails you'll need. But of course you'll need away to drill and nail them in 3. Planning out your shed space beforehand is essential If you live in a hilly area you will want to make sure your ground is level before building your shed. I was able to build a quick platform for the shed on top of cement blocks. This will also ensure proper drainage underneath your shed. 4. Inspect package throuroughly before signing off on it. I did not do this last step and I somewhat regret it. The package arrived with shredded up cardboard ( like a badger was let loose on it) I assumed it would be fine since it was all lumber, but after opening the package I soon discovered warped wood. Not a big deal but it made things difficult to assemble and the door does not sit exactly as it should. But hey, a shed is a shed 5. You will need to treat your shed regularly. This shed comes pretreated, but it will only last for a few months or so. Thereafter you will need to treat it annually. If you don't want to do this. Go with a Rubbermaid shed instead. I read a lot of reviews about how poor quality this is. And I don't think that is the case. It is a well designed shed and a quality product. I think the problem lies with the negligence between the consumer and shipping company. It seems changes need to be made in their care for the product. Proper storage and care when shipping is essential to keep this product in good condition by the time it arrives at someone's home. If changes can be made in this department, then it could become a five star product

Last year I purchased a "Wood Storage Shed by Caico" and the quality was reasonably good. Unfortunately, it is no longer available, so I purchased this shed instead... Delivery was prompt as expected - we are talking Amazon service here. Let's pass on the poor instructions, which is kind of expected. Compared to the Caico, the design of this shed is poor and the quality is low. Poor design: for example, the trims around the roof part are held by a few nails set on the thin side of a very thin board. I had to place some backer strips of wood to make it hold, maybe. The doors are braced inside but the wood is so thin it warps nonetheless. Poor quality: thin wood, with many defects, lack of stain in places, presence of mildew, roof covering was folded stuck, so got torn when unfolded, flimsy hardware which cannot really hold the doors closed... It will do for a few years especially with the few enhancements made and the fact is protected from the rain where I have it, so two stars. But I do not recommend it. It says made in the UK ... China may have been much better.
