Q: will they smudge if used on Architects tracing paper which is very similar to modern day greaseproof paper (not the old tissue style paper)

Just tried it on a piece of grease proof paper and the pen doesn't smudge. I put some lines on the paper and smudged it with my finger and it was alright so should be fine for you.

Q: What size are these? Are these like the mini version or the normal size pen?

These are normal sized pens but with a fine nib, like the mini ones! Hope that makes sense?

Q: Do they come with the box shown

yes but note that the box is not a hard plastic box but cardboard so not sure of its durability. May need to buy a replacement storage case in the long term.

So they give you two of 430 and two of 9, hope this helps!
