Heavy slate very easy to clean. Excellent value for money

I needed no placemats and most of those available were pvc, plastic or the flexible coated variety. I wanted something natural, long lasting and heat proof. These heavy slate placemats and matching coasters ticked all the boxes. Great customer services, fast response time and timely delivery.

Nice slates, stain quite easily and the edges are a little fragile but other than that they have some good weight to them and look great.

The media could not be loaded. Lovely placemats a bit smaller than I thought they’d be but that’s my fault for not measuring. They are lovely but didn’t sit flush on any surface they were uneven so wobbled on one side. Not a major issue but not ideal for me so sent them back easily enough.

Great item, fits and sits well on table. Has pads on bottom of slate to protect what they are placed on ie glass, wood etc.

Very pleased with the set of 6 coasters and place mats made from slate, their a really nice colour and definitely worth the price, one thing to take care of, is in the first few days you'll get small flakes of slate coming off the edge's, this stopped with ours after a few days but it's nothing to worry about, the only other thing is to be careful with the edges slate is sharp and there's nothing you can do but be careful when washing/wiping them down

We brought slate coasters years ago from a shop, and they are still going strong. They haven't chipped or broken! We then purchased this product to add to our current coasters. These ones constantly have black bits of slate flaking off and chipping off every piece! It's quite annoying when there are black bits of slate all over your dining table! Also, when you wipe them clean the black transfers onto the wipe/cloth...along with more black bits. We haven't experienced this before with other slate items we have brought previously from elsewhere. Its a nice set...its just a shame it is so flaky!

This placemats and coasters are just gorgeous, and a really great price.I was worried they would arrive broken but each piece was individually wrapped in bubblewrap, then boxed with more bubble packaging.Everything arrived perfectly and im very happy with my purchae!
